Wow! BTP your witticisms have completely changed my mind...go Taylor!

Seriously, Taylor's best season was in 2002 with 869 yds and 6 tds. Other than that he's been very average and his stats really mirror Gardner's with slightly less yardage and fewer tds per season. Our QB situation has been in flux just like the Ravens...I really don't see that Taylor is a slight upgrade from Gardner. Other than the fact that he is cheaper than 50-50. If your argument is based on the fact he is dirt cheap...well ok, maybe I can see it. Snyder has spent more money on higher priced busts. But if he's not even as good as Gardner, why do it at all? Give Jacobs a shot instead...that's free. Give me a good explanation that Taylor's talent justifies this move and maybe I'll start to agree.

Would you say he's faster than Gardner?

Would you say he drops less balls than Gardner?

If he's as big as Gardner, and comes cheaper than Gardner and the 2 above questions equal yes... then wouldn't he be an up grade over Gardner?....

We all no Gardners not awful... he just drops to many darn balls...

Gardners gone... and we gotta bring somebody in here to replace him..... but more of a focus needs to be addressed to O-Line and CB.... so if we need some one to fill Gardners shoes... why not another Gardner only a little better.... at least for the time being until we solidify other needed areas....

I'm not parading around saying we gotta bring T.Taylor here.... I'm just saying it might be a good option to bring him in if we have to spend the big bucks somewhere else....;)

Yep, Jacobs is a Spurrier kid that's yet to get a full season shot. I'd rather see what he's got - without spending a nickle on someone like TT. He's not a bad player, nothing against him (spurrier kid or not). But I also heard Gibbs praising Jacobs work ethic along with Thrash. To be mentioned with Thrash by Gibbs - tells me he's gonna get a shot to play. If we're not going after a marquee player, no need to make a move at WR for a #3 guy with NFL experience.

Who should go or who might me the break out player next year, that stunk in 04?

Taylor Jacobs will be the break out player on offense... you heard it here first... (this of course is nulled if we draft a WR with our 1rst round pick)

Well, the Taylor kid has only been around a few years, so itr's easy to say it's all Billick's fault for not maximizing his abilities. Still, he's an unknown quantity and I've seen too many of those come down the pike and wreck my day.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen...
I'd rather read a Ramsey V. Brunell again before we start getting into favorite colors. Do you have any idea how many "B&G, of course !" responses you'd get from that ?
Shoot me now, Lieutenant Hat.

See your point...that's cool. I guess I'd just rather see Jacobs get a shot...of course Gibbs loves FAs... :)
