I understand where you're coming from Taz...it's kinda like Mother's Day, etc...you should respect and love and honor her everyday.. but it's also nice to have a special day just for fun too. And everything doesn't have to be commercial...I'm sure the dozen roses my son in law got from the grocery store weren't 80.00 but they were roses and the thought was really nice too...same with Jake's flowers...not 80.00 but meant more to me than if they did. I remember one year where Jake wrote me a really sweet poem and printed it out on the computer for me. Meant as much as the necklace he got me yesterday. He's working now and able to buy things so it feels good for him to be able to buy things.I guess it's all in how we look at things and how we were raised. As for hockey...I agree that it stinks they are not playing.

We knew that BH was just putting up a brave anti-establishment face. Do not worry. Nobody that I know buys the Hallmark cards anyway.

About the $80 roses.. That is why some of us DO NOT live in Ontario or anywhere near Toronto. I studied at U of T.

I am glad to know BH -never- visits the dog house. Right?

Ooooops!

Ok I got another delivery today. Baby Rose plants. Something, if I can keep them alive until spring, that can be planted in my garden. Scott gets an A% this year!
