Hey It said "Cards get new logo" on the link I clicked...ther was that other one though...maybe I just watned to click the cooler one

...er.. Jake has the correct info, like always.
My fault.
That is sad however that the Sun Devils probaly fill more seats than the Cardinals fans.

Real men are Cardinal fans... Those people are tough.

They're not tough, they're masochists.

If you want to belive it or not, the cards are finally building themselve a decent team. With Dennis green at the helm, two great wideouts, a QB who is still devolping. Emmit needs to go and they need some work on the D. But they did finish 6-10, they can't be that bad.....just being the devils advocate.

I didn't think it was possible to literally see a generation gap, but I think that's it right there!

As the news anchor on channel 7 said last night....they spent millions on focus groups, designers, etc. to come up with THAT!!!???? All they did was stretch it out diagonally. One of the graphics guys here coulda done it in no time flat.

It's a shame the focus groups didn't tell them the Cardinals is a stupid team name.

True dat!
It is a silly name for a Football team, I mean, it's a little harmelss red bird. Really not menacing at all.

The Cardinals. Founded in 1898, the oldest continuously ran NFL team in the world, and the only team whose mascot is a Catholic person.
That last fact might not be factual.
Here is some info I found...
Number of years in the National Football League: 82
Number of NFL championships: 2
Year of last NFL championship win: 1947
Number of winning seasons in the last 20 years: 3
Number of playoff appearances the last 20 years: 1
Number of playoff games won in the last 50 years: 1
Expectations of this consistent form changing any time soon: No expectations...
A new logo can't hurt, I guess.
They also release a Super Bowl MVP with no second thought and make other big personnell jokes.
Why? They like the challenge the Arizona way, I guess.

Truly sad information:

Number of playoff appearances the last 20 years: 1
Number of playoff games won in the last 50 years: 1
Dang that is pretty sorry.

Clinton, aren't we on a 1 appearance in 12 year run??? We're not far behind.

12 isnt nearly as many as 20!!!!
Or maybe I'm in denial.
But the Redskins are not in the same league as the Cards! NEVVERRR!

I dislike the new logo.
But to all those who criticise this team, I would say one thing: They are better than the multi-SB winner 49ers. Period.
The old-timers might remember the Hannifan HC years when they had great battles against our Skins in the NFC East.

Sorry but the only 2 wins the 49ers got this season were against the Cards.

I guess that "Period" wasn't such a "Period" after all...

Any bets about who ends up with a better record this season between the D. Green Cardinals and the Nolan 49ers?
Come on bring it on tough guys. I never thought I would place a bet on the Cardinals but I think they are really getting better. Surely not playoff material but NOT the laughing stock of the NFL.
So, What do you have to lose? Except a bet of course...

Fine. I pick Cards.
They almost beat the Seahawks, held their own against the 49ers and barely lost....Destroyed the Rams 31-7....and at least didnt get blown out by the patriots.
I give them credit.
CP Picks Cards.
