For the information of some who have not witnessed similar posts in the past, the guy in the photo is Die Hard. He actually is a poster in Concrete Field, the Eagles Fan2Fan website managed by General Failure.
There have been countless stories about similar quasi-criminal actions and terrible behaviour by Eagles fans in the past. The post was a sarcastic comment on the arguments made at different times by various P. fans in this and other websites in the past.
If you noted, the post is signed by "Die Hard".
Now it's clear.
I have actually seen that photo before..tho I'm not sure where.

All you dumbass fans that think you are so great must not know about the Eagles fan who was killed by Redskins fans after the game in Washington this year. You have no problem talking about Philly but don't want to take the time to realize this happens with all die hard fans. So what if fans get on other fans for wearing the other teams jerseys, thats what true fans would do. You all act like Philly is some terrible place where only convicts live, but instead it's just a hard working blue collar city who is more passionate about their football team than any other fans in the country. Also to the idiot who said that there is a jail in the stadium you are wrong because the Linc doesn't. Get your facts right before you come at Philly.

The philly fan in question started a fight, if the rumor mill is correct. Not condoning his death, but he had a hand in it. He wasn't just blantently murdered in random fashion.
If you want a good view of Philly, go to ConreteField.

The Linc was built with one, like the Vet had.
I guess they felt they didn't need it though...that'll come back to haunt em

It's ok to be a die hard fan and heckle the others teams visitors....
It's not ok to threaten violence nor throw batteries, bottles, etc... at people over a
football game..... passion about your football team is fine... but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.. you're from Philly, so you're bias...listen to people who visit from any other team and it's not just people picking on the people of Philly ... it's the truth

That's terrible! I didn't hear about that. Can you point me to the news article regarding it?

Was it Redskins Fans who broke the legs of the Philly Eagles Mascot???????

No jail -- but there's a Police Room.

What is this? You want me to believe a rumor you better give me a name of who died.
This happened in 2002.
BOB LEY, HOST- October 20, 2002. Fan passion can turn violent. For one fan, wearing a visiting team's jersey nearly got him killed.
ED ALLEN, WORE EAGLES JERSEY TO EAGLES/REDSKINS GAME- Apparently, the same guy who knocked me down pretty much grabbed me by the shirt, as I was unconscious, and beat on my face.
MARK SCHWARZ, OUTSIDE THE LINES- Ed Allen can't help but wonder what he could have done differently. Surely none of this would have happened had he not rearranged his morning schedule as a personal trainer in order to attend a Monday Night Football game. Surely he could have prevented it had he not stopped on his way from Philly to D.C. to pick up a new Eagles jersey, something to wear proudly at FedEx Field to show Redskins fans where his heart was.
ALLEN- And we just thought, you know, everybody was going to know we were Eagles fans. You know, that was the point.
http://espn.go.com/page2/tvlistings/show134transcript.htmlI saw an Eagles fan do the same thing to a redskins fan this season on 12/12/2004. Punching him repeatedly in the face while there was no fight left in the other guy. Section 449 if I remember right.

You want to spout out opinion and call it fact, go ahead. But sell it someplace else. The Linc was built with a courtroom and a pen, just like the Vet had. They recently closed down the courtroom due to Eagle fan's best behavior, but it IS there. When the Eagles start losing again, and can't sell out, like they always do with a losing team in that town, frustrations will rise and Eagles Court will be back in session. That's a lock.
Not true

Not true.
Redskin in Canada wrote:...I know some good people in Philly. We even have a few fans there. The City and its people are not at fault. It is the Eagles fans. They just scrap the bottom of the barrel to fill in the stadium. That's all.
psuLaVar wrote:it's just a hard working blue collar city who is more passionate about their football team than any other fans in the country.
Not true.
You have great fans of other teams with far more passion and less agression than Eagles fans. Take Green Bay, Chiefs, and other places where going as a visitor is tough but you do not fear for your safety.
Take a tour of GB Packers, Vikings, or Chiefs web sites and simply ask the question What is the worst stadium to visit? (or just check the threads where the worst experiences as visiting fans are described).
For example, pay a visit to Purple Pride the Vikes Fan2Fan website and see what fans of the NFC North and others have to say about the "Linc experience":

I would love to know about the skins fan who killed the eagles fan, sounds like a big bunch of bull to me.I know for a fact that the eagle stadium has a court room with a judge on duty during games. The only one in the nfl that has that. The fans are so bad there they had no choice.

Yeah thats terrible. But I guess I would be angry and blood sucking too if I'd been soo close to the superbowl 3 times just to be defeated in the Championship game. Oh and the team has never won a superbowl, that would tend to make almost anyone mad.

They were crappy fans well before that ever happened.

You know, its funny, last year my brother and I went to an Eagles/Skins game and had no problems whatsoever. I had on my Arrington jersey, and he was in his Bailey jersey, and nobody bothered us. It could be because my brother is 6'5", 250 pounds, and looks like he'll pound the .... out of anybody, but hey, we were just fine.

I have a scar on my forehead from the one game I went to at the Vet. I got clocked with a Detroit Lions mug.
Still, the Cowboys are the only team I hate.

Eagles fans are scum. They dont deserve to win anything. They deserve the torture they've endured for years. And they will get their just desserts in Jacksonville. Seeing them pour of the stadium with tears in their eyes after the game would be WELL worth the price of admission. They finally made it over the hump and won the NFC title. Congrats guys....unfortunately theres another game in 2 weeks....and its againt Bill Belichick, not Jim Mora Jr..... this one is going to be ugly.
