Man... hating on big John isn't cool. He's as gentle of a giant as they come. You gotta love drunk commentators.

ESPN is done because EA and the NFL signed a 6 year deal for sole rights.

Madden is definitely a better game. I quit playing the 2K series all together when I rushed for 3,000 yards with Trung Canidate. Yea, that's realistic...

GF, did you ever find any good combination with the sliders? I didn't actually try that. But what does it say about a game that isn't hard enough with the default settings? I know Madden has the same thing, but I always thought the most difficult setting was fine by itself...

I think in this case it means the game was meant to be more fun for the casual gamer than Madden is. Madden's running game is brutal if you've never played before, especially the '06 version.

I know how you feel about the default setting though. I was able to set a new rushing record with Bruce Perry. Westbrook and Buchhalter both went out for the year, he stepped in after week 2 and tore up defenses all season.
