At least Winslow's only put
himself in danger this offseason. Winslow is a wannabe soldier/bike rider, not a wannabe thug who points his gun at people when he loses his temper

well lets see whos more valuable shall we......
choice #1. breech your contract, crash a motorbike, miss the entire season because of self inflicted injury.
choice #2. kill someone. get a lawyer, beat the rap like ALL famous people do (oj, kobe, micheal jackson, ray lewis, etc. etc.), actually make the season, and maybe kill someone else on the field.
i still take choice #2.

look its very simple...

ey led our team with tds last year. He plays hard every snamp, keeps his mouth shut, has no drama with him and shows up to every practice. Hmmmm sounds like a gibbs type player to me. The guy was catching Brunells passes in the dirt for tds last year. He aint goin no where and will have an awesome future for the skins.

Can anybody say COOLEY??? He's one of the best guys on the team. Hard worker...and it shows on the field. He of all deserves a fat pay check if he produces just like he did last year. I love this guy....going to buy a jersey of his soon.

And I will surely "remind" you too and I am looking forward to doing so.
For the Millionth and oneth time:
ey is NOTHING but an H-Back. Wow 6 TD catches. How sad was our offense? The worst in the league. And you people gloat about that? Just proves that their are a lot of bandwagoners/homers on this site.
By the way, wasn't this original thread a discussion as to who would be our tight end this upcoming season?
Sorry to disappoint you "Cooley-ites" its not going to be him.
Just because someone looks like they are a "Gibbs" type player doesn't mean they are any good on the field. I am glad Gibbs will use our receivers far more this season and keep in
ey for blocking as he should.

Jeez...what's in your pants? Whats wrong with some TEs scoring for us? It doesn't matter WHO scores as long as Washington scores, right? Where's the love for a hard worker? Where's the respect for a young athlete who is now a role model for those new rookies?

ey is a great player both on and off the field. He may not be as talkative as Smoot among others but

ey is a great example of a true Redskin.
BTW, we weren't the WORST offense in the league. Close but not there.

We do already have a thread on that issue. Check it out.

Some kudos! To hailskins, you are a sick puppy (just love door #2!) and to hatsOFF - great point!

ey will have a great year playing with this offense and playing within this offense.
When guys like K2 and Schockey play it's all about them not about how the team does - see ya!

I believe

ey will have a break out year this year. I don't know what happened to Becht last year but he did have 2 or 3 decent years with the Jets before that. I don't think he'll ever see those numbers again. He's going to get lost in Tampa Bay.
BTW, as mentioned earlier,

ey is a HB but sometimes he's listed as a TE on some of the web sites. I've even seen him listed as a RB on some of the fantasy sites. Where does he belong in a ff league?

Let's see how Robert Royal does. There probably expecting big things from him, since they didn't go after one this offseason.

If he gets a chance to play like he did last year, he will produce. He has always had talent. Even when he was a rookie, he could play like he did in 2004 but he was always riddled with injuries. I was glad to see Royal produce last year because I knew he always had the talent to do so.

I'd be more than satisfied to see

ey and Royal stick around for a good many years. I think that with some work, Royal could become a reliable product in Gibbs' system. And

ey, what more can be said? As Chris Samuels told me, "all he do is catch touchdowns".

i don't have a problem with royal either. i think he's very efficient..... when he's in. thats his thing, he's been hurt for over half his career. but, here's to an injury free season for the redskins....

That is the difference between you and all true Skins fans: We will be cheering for our team and the success of our players.
Badmouthing

ey because he contributed last season...
Keep it up. You might end up growing up to become a puke fan real soon.

ey will have, we won't even know who Anthony Becht is...
