I dunno how you can be so tolerant BH, I mean, he's a troll.

The fact that Bosshog just didn't delete the TROLL'S comment epitomizes what this board is all about.

All comments are fair game. All comments are encouraged. When someone steps over the line and starts personal attacks and/or name calling, that is inappropriate.

If that is the sort of thing that goes on in the "ER" board, God Bless Them. I am happy to hear about that now before I ever ventured over there. Now, I just won't waste my time.

For those of you that think "THEHOGS.NET" is a cult-like site, then....because this is America...I suppose you can feel free to leave and never again post here. If you do decide to leave, I'm sure a lot of us would be very sorry to see you go because, again, the more views expressed on our message boards, the better for everyone.

This includes Redskinscity. As Bosshog stated, many of your posts were fine. Those are the types of posts all of us encourage. When you start name-calling or shooting off demeaning comments, etc., maybe you should use another board....like, for example, "ER".

Why dont you just put an age limit on the board.

... because EVERYONE is welcome here regardless of age. (And I'm the cult?) This board is for everyone, not any certain individual. That means EVERYONE obeys the rules that we establish... whether you're 12 or 72.

exsplesive? Is that supposed to be expletive? The comments aren't inappropriate because they are expletive... they're inappropriarte because it is name calling. I mean I can't call you a moron on my board, but it's perfectly okay to say that I think your opinion is moronic. There's a difference, and it's a hair that we split at theHogs.net. It comes from being involved with Redskin communities where it is permitted and eventually all you are left with is petty bickering and name calling and no serious football dialogue.

We'll take the dialogue, you're welcome to the bickering.

To step in here and defend myself:

Some members here were posting opinions. Redskincity as is his mien decided he didn't want to hear it, but instead of tuning it out, he decided to step out of line and tell people in essence that they needed to not say what THEY wanted to say... simply because he didn't like it.

All I said was that he shouldn't take other people to task over what their opinions were because, unlike a cult, if they wanted to express them, they didn't have to have his permission or blessing. To which he then got insulting (as he has done before) referring to people as crybabies and fairweather (that is what bandwagon fans means in case you don't know) fans because they didn't agree with him. Which is totally inappropriate due to the fact that nobody has to worship at the altar of anyone. I wouldn't have cared one whit if he had just disagreed, but he started telling people what their opinions needed to sound like.

If that is too advanced a concept for ya, and if you don't see the problems with this team simply because you don't wanna hear it anymore, you have the right, just like anyone, to not read the threads. Don't tell me or anyone else that we don't have the right or ability to post OUR opinions on the board.

As far as your trolling goes, whatever. We are so happy that you guys get "real" Redskins over there, and we hope you do tell people about us. If they come over here and see how this isn't the first time that RSCity has pulled this then they might understand why admin jumps in at the first sign of his obstreporous (out of hand for you ES people) behavior.

I have disagreed with a lot of people on here without anything like what has happened before with RSCity, and like would have happened this time if it had accelerated with a few of our other fans getting into the mix.

I am a volunteer here, I take my time to keep the boards available for ALL who want to express their opinions, not just the ones who agree with YOU or ME. When someone encroaches on your right to state your opinions I will step in on them too - not because they disagree with you, but because they are attempting to make you stop stating your opinion through strongarming or bashing.

I hope everyone can understand this simple idea. Everyone has the right to agree or disagree, but if someone steps on ANYONE's right to state an opinion - admin should step in.

Notice I didn't say anything to his get over it. And yes I read it before anyone else replied to it. If you actually read my reply to his, you would notice that I said that he shouldn't take people to task for disagreeing.
I singled his name out because his post was intended to keep people from posting what they may have wanted so they wouldn't be belittled in the way I was. The simple posts I put up asking him not to state his opinions in such an aggressive manner were not stating that he couldn't disagree. His posts were designed to get a reaction, he knows it, and if you weren't new here you would have known it too.

Notice, I didn't attack you or tell you to shut up, get over it, call you a name or tell you to go away. Just thought I would point out the difference between disagreeing and posts designed to engender a negative reaction.

He won't be back... he'd have to be able to spell the web address to do so.
