25 carries, 80 yards. That's 3.2 yards per carry.

He assumed you were talking season average.
Hard to run in cold weather when the right side of your line may as well be Swiss Cheese, the QB has been playing crappy for months, and defenders are in the backfield by the time you have the ball.

Yes, but it was supposed to be against an awful run defense.

Keep in mind we're talking about Jim Johnson, the master of the blitz.

The only reason that Dallas was even CLOSE in the Eagles game is because the Redskins took out 3 of Philly's defensive players the week before. And even with that help, they could only score 7?

It's finally time for redemption against Dallas
Let's see how their defense tries to stop Portis who has been on fire as of late
It's tough to imagine a scenario in which Dallas scores, but you know they'll luck into one
Back in week 3 Vinny Testaverde had his best game since early 30's, He won't get anything this time
Prediction: Burgundy & Gold 23 Cowboys 7

RED ZONE .....freek-in RED ZONE.
They have to get the ball in the endzone when they have the chance. It could have cost us in Frisco and will cost us again against a good team.
P.S. should we thank Roy Williams for taking out T.O. and should I feel guilty that he is out for the rest of the season??????

Portis was "on fire" coming into Week 3 as well...
STILL got punk'd on the goal line.

Portis was rushing into the line too fast, not allowing the holes to develop. He has been much more patient in the previous weeks...watch out for him. Easy 100+ yard game for him.

The Dallas media is predicting a Redskins win, which is unusual. The "team has quit on Parcells and he's not the coach he used to be" is all over town. The media here believes he just took the job to "pad his 401k"' Fans want Henson...they won't get him. Dallas can't (and won't) stop the run this Sunday. Their secondary is terrible, and with the way the refs are calling pass int this year, watch for a lot of Portis and at least one deep throw per quarter to keep Dallas backed out of the box.
Washington will score their points early, Dallas will make it a game late, but:
WAS 23 DAL 21

This'll be a tight one. Even Joe knows, going into Dallas is no cake walk.
On a side note, hard to believe that th elast time we almost won there, Wuerffel was our QB.
Ahhhh, the good ol'days.

No he wasn't. Other than his first run as a Redskin, he was merely average going into game 3.

The last time we DID win there, Heath Shuler was our QB.

Dallas is going to get beat down. I say 31-7.
Their secondary cannot stop coles or gardner going deep, unless they hold them (Brunell threw for 300 yards in week 3). Their defensive line is a joke.....except for pass rushing (ellis has been decent at that). Their running back is the most overated running back to have ever played the game. I'm gonna laugh when he gets 20 yards on 20 carries!
One thing I need help with though.....predicting Vinny's interceptions. Is he gonna throw three interceptions all game or three in the first half? I really can't predict which Vinny will show up. Maybe someone else can, but I can't.

Oh yeah...we will win this one. Our guys have shown up to play every week, this one will launch us through the first week of playoff hopes! We also will be fired up for the Vikes game that will send us to the post season! (granted everyone loses that we need to lose) I think this will be a close one...it always is.
