Zo on coverage underneath and Gomes coming over late on Boldin is not a good combination. Results were predictable.

Jones is collecting penalties! He has Brandyn Thompson breathing down his neck to take his spot - maybe he doesn't know that?

You call them backups.... I call them potential starters when the guy in front of them gets injured. Imagine that defense if we end up having the same type of injuries that have plagued some teams over the years. Especially this year with no offseason workouts, I have to believe that injuries will be rife throughout the season. If they happen to our starting defense we're in deep doo-doo.

Doubt it. Please the hometeam fans. Especially those who so clearly have a chip on their shoulders for being the second team in the region.

Sooo... when one starter gets hurt, they will replace all of them with backups? Facinating...

You know, there's a Forum called "Football 101"... you should visit there.

From what I've seen there isn't ONE of those backups worth playing a starting role. Of course this is the way the NFL wants it with the salary cap. No ability to build a team with any quality depth.

This is gonna be hard, the first time in 4 years I have had to root against Tyrod Taylor!!! Kind of a sad moment.

I have no more desire to see the Redskins lose than you do. We just have different views on what constitutes "losing".

From Bleacher Report:
After the team's trainers did some work on Jenkins, he was taken off the field. A short while later, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post tweeted that Jenkins had suffered a strained knee, making his return questionable.

Phew... hope that's all it is... dude is a stud.
