Read my lips.....four "interviews".......I'll buy the first two as interviews....the 3rd and 4th one's were planning sessions for addressing all of the issues brought up in the news piece.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. With Mora dropping out, unless another candidate emerges, I think that GW will be named the coach at some point this week. However, if Snyder had decided last week on GW he would've announced the decision already. When you hire a coach you want to get media attention and get national coverage of the hire. Well you aren't going to get that after today because by tomorrow we will know who is going to be in the Super Bowl, and nobody outside of the DC area is going to care about there being a new coach. So I agree that GW is likely going to get the job, but I don't think that it's as much of a slam dunk as some people think.

I think that Snyder has made the decision on Williams and is making the most of the opportunity - there is nothing to be gained by making the decision too early and a lot to be gained by discussing and using the opportunity to "evaluate" where others stand - I am so glad that Snyder is our owner - he has obviously learned a lot since he brought Gibbs back - we will be a better team for all this

I have to agree, fellas. Gregg has been here for 4 years. As Ray pointed out, are we to believe after 4 years, Snyder would need 4 interviews to figure out what kind a guy Gregg is? Right.

I actually think Gregg would be perfect for the team, in regards to dealings with Snyder and the front office. Gregg is not a 'yes man'. He is not afraid to make his feelings known. I believe he's the type that could, and will, stand up to Vinny and Dan. "Sorry Vinny, we aren't going to re-sign Deion Sanders just cause Dan still owes him a few million.)

I love Gregg's demeanor; as a coach, as a motivator and especially with the media. He's a players coach. He roams that sideline with such intensity, and the players feel it.

I also believe he recognizes the futile nature of a conservative offense in todays NFL. I think he would let Al open up the offense, and Campbell is the perfect man for the job.. GW has publicly acknowledged Campbell as an incredible QB, stating numerous times in his pressers, how JC picks apart his defense in practice. If you look at the successful teams over the past half decade, you'll recognize the importance and necessity of a solid passing attack and having the receivers to execute it. I believe GW gets it, as he's been game planning for those types of offenses for several years now.
