It was a bad mistake but I doubt it mattered since he hit the first one perfectly. Personally, I think they need to sit JC for a game. He needs to learn he can't continually turn the ball over. We're not good enough to continually overcome turnovers. He did it with Rypien and I think he needs to do it now.

Unfortunately...no make that fortunately...I didn't get to watch the game here. Can someone explain this "2 time outs in a row" thing to me.

This squad sucks.

You watch these losses and you see every place where there are shortcomings .. some by injury (O-line, secondary) but many more by poor planning and decision making.

don't you guys know. we are in first place... and extended our lead again today. in what you ask??? blown halftime leads during gibbs second tenure. we are like the patroits in this category. nobody close. and since i might be too sick to post again next week... left me do this advance... fast forward to thursday night, somewhere mid to late third quarter, when i once again would announce, "we lead the nfl in blown halftime leads during the gibbs ii tenure." there i said it... now the redskins can go and do their part to make me look like a genius.

I just heard what happened... Did JG let that big play down the field, no... BUT WHAT person made the STUPID mistake of calling back to back time outs.

I thought that they would paly with more emotion than what I heard.

Love the players, coaching staff is getting to me.

Gibbs -- for trying to call back-to-back time outs without time coming off the clock. That's illegal.

NFL rule states that you cannot call 2 timeouts in a row, just to ice a kicker. It's illegal and leads to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Given all of the circumstances, the players played much better than one could have expected.

This game was a prime example of what is wrong with this team. The offense CAN'T score TD's.

This game should have been closed out by the third Q...instead...we let them hang around until the 4 Q when we cannot even move the ball on offense.

It has to be coaching. There is no other explanation....and the 15 yard double time out penalty PROVES that this coaching staff cannot do their part.

Absolutely inexcusable call, virtually guaranteeing a loss.

So all week we cry and say how football doesn't matter, Sean is what was important , so we have the worst WEEK in Redskin history and all is forgotten. It's back to the Fire Gibbs, we SUCK posts.

Sure the Skins should have won this game, but they aren't the ones who are pathetic!

The first few plays, looked like they were going to steamroll the Bills, everyone looked on a different level. But as things settled down, only a few guys, Smoot mostly, looked like they were playing with any heart.

Better play calling and a big WR and we score in the redzone at least twice in the first half.

Joe Gibbs doesn't even understand the basic rules of the game, it's becoming pathetic to see Gibbs on the sidelines.

His clock management is terrible, his playcalling lacks any guts, and he DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE RULES!

Also, icing the kicker does not work. It's idiotic. "Icing" the kicker actually gives the kicker a DISTINCT advantage! He gets more time to analyze the weather conditions and to calm his nerves.

In any case, at least the Redskins will get a decent draft pick.

Maybe the worse coaching job I've seen in my life. Gibbs got our passing game out of sync by the usual conservative crap, switched to a running game that was averaging less than two yards per carry, got out-coached at half time as usual, and then at the end made an unforgivable blunder that probably cost us the game. I have totally had it with the guy. If anyone out there is still supporting him, I' m shocked.
