Until then, I consider this a bad practice.

Riggins, who probably knows Gibbs better than any of us, isn't sounding positive about any of this. He even suggested we could be looking at 1-4 to start the season (at least he thinks we can still beat the Texans!!!).

And what are these, "fake" plays?? Come on. You really think that they can execute a more advanced version of the offense when they can't even string together a few first downs with a watered down, vanilla offense?? The oline can't block right now, Brunell looks like 2004 self, and the receivers look like they are allergic to the ball. You have to be able to do the basics first.

When I come home after watching the Redskins beat the Vikings by 2 TDs on MNF, I want to see a thread called "JPM36 you were absolutely right"

That's all I ask.

Look at the bright side. It will be easy for the coaches to find 23 players to cut this week.

Brunell was already a question mark, as was the Oline - they all had knee surgeries in the offseason. I think the Defense won't look like this during the regular season.

The one thing we did find out is that Lloyd has issues with separation and holding onto the ball.

JPM, I am sorry I just don't get your rationale...We are running vanilla plays, which is fine, but we cannot even execute these at all. A bad practice should never been equated to a game, even if it is pre-season. A pre-season game is a culmination of a practice week, meaning we are executing, minimally, the basics, in a very poor way.

We have had three bad practices , to quote you, in a row and I think we all have reason to be worried.

Dammit. We just broke our sucky play streak. Now Minn might mistake us for a good college team. :(

Yea, we are in serious trouble. Our team has looked like utter and complete garbage from the very second brunell threw that lazy pass out of bounds and portis got hurt. I have seen nothing to be positive about at all. We've gotten our teeth kicked in all 3 games! this isnt just a "bad practice" unless you think we've had 3 extremly bad practices the 3 games we've played? No... this team is nowhere near as good as any of us had previously thought. It sucks too, cuz im a positive guy, but man... this is bad!

Believe it or not, the cut-down number for Tuesday's deadline is all of 75.

I don't consider Minnesota to be a very good team. They just lost their first round pick for the season, and their #1 WR just got cut. Plus, their QB is older than ours!! The Vikings are one of those teams we should beat, no question.

While I hate them, I think the Cowboys have some talent this year (now I feel dirty having typed that). When we beat them, then you'll have been absolutely right.

I'm pretty sure it's 65.

This reminds me of the midseason funk we were in last season. All it took was getting a few tunrovers and, bingo, off on a winning streak. We are getting it out of our system now. Watchout Vikings!

Riggins is being pretty darn objective, for a former 'skin. No homerism at all.
