"For sure" "Facts"

I cant use absolutes like that man... I dont know the future- Colt had another procedure and Case could break his leg walking in the building!

I think Haskins is the day 1 starter.. We can start a poll in another thread. Good idea. Im not back tracking one bit

Dude Brady could break his leg. Thats sort of getting away from the premise which is Haskins is not starting. Poll or no poll but it would be fun none the less.

Name me quarterbacks drafted in the top half of the first round who didn't start immediately.

Do you see what almost all of those names you listed have in common? They were all drafted at least five years ago.

Look at all the QBs drafted in the top half of the first since 2014.

What does that have to do with Haskins not starting game 1. Money says he doesn't

If you look at the draft list for the last five years you'll see almost every one of them has started immediately. I'd say the odds are in Haskins' favor. It's not like Keenum is going to get the team over the hump or be the future of the organization.

Cracking me up bro... Its not like his competition is a long time vet starter with the team. He is going against a retread whos skill is unknown in the new system.

The job is his for the taking no doubt about it.

Time will tell.. Who earns more reps with the 1s in training camp will be a big tell

Ross Pierschbacher[/u]

Strengths

a great first step at the point of contact;
can play interior offensive lineman as a guard and center;
great continuous push on run plays;
sharp, high-football I.Q.;
great instincts on recognizing blitzes;
disciplined and rarely makes pre-snap mistakes;
efficient as a reach blocker;
a tough and consistent blocker in the running and passing game.

Weaknesses

lacks overall quickness despite great first-step;
has poor balance especially in his knee when pass protecting;
possesses shorter arms than other prospects;
can get pushed back while pass protecting;
not highly explosive at the point of contact;
lacks overall athleticism to play consistently fast;
underwhelming in terms of play strength.

Forgot about TE...

Davis is old
God I wish Reed could stay healthy
Sprinkle was solid, when sprinkled in

Kelvin Harmon, Emmanuel Hall, or Foster Moreau should be the selection at 173

We need a TE that can block and catch desperately so Gruden doesn't have to give away whether we are running Sprinkle or throwing Reed

Cole Holcomb
Pos:
Tough, instinctive linebacker who gets the most from his ability. Quickly picks up assignments, remains disciplined and gives great effort. Diagnoses plays before they unfold, fluidly flows to the action and quickly locates the ball. Does a great job making the defensive calls in the middle of the field. Fires up the field to fill gaps and gives effort against the run. Squares and wraps up tackling.

Neg:
Undersized, struggles to get off blocks and gets washed up in the trash. Lacks foot speed, which will cause mismatches against faster tight ends. Analysis: His approach to the game and ability to diagnose could help him find a roster spot as a backup.

Not sure why we need a lLB with no speed who can't cover RB or TE. He must be a RB tackling machine. Ask Danny
