Brutal. Two Va Tech players.
Well there are a couple advantages over Hurricanes. First it means they've been on teams that have won something before. And yet they have less attitude about it...
Won what, exactly? A national championship? Certainly not.

You mean speedy X position wr, because no way in hell you can consider Garcon a #1 wr.

Also, nothing heard WRT Fletcher, nor Hightower.....but hopefully with our new QB (RGIII come on down), and additions at receiver, getting into the end zone will not be as much of a challenge as it has been the past, oh, 3-5 years......
Yes, we definitely need a starting ss, fs, or ilb more than we need a #4 or #5 wr.

We sure have rated a lot of our precious casio space on meh receivers. You can't make an solid argument that Garcon is clearly better than Gafney, or johnson is better than moss, or royal is better than who ever is next.
We spent a ton of cap space and haven't clearly improved our wr corps. Hopefully, johnson or royal got the will montgomery disposable contract so when they don't make the team they can be cut without impacting the cap.
We still need a starting RT and a RG to compete with the dore w signed last year.
Just having RG3 was going to improve our wrs as long we kept him up right.
This has been worse than my worst fears!
Please!. Let them worry about the cap implications. Who says they're done? You worry too much.

I'm not worried about a RT as much as C. I don't mind going into the season with Brown and Smith at RT. I don't mind Chester for this year. I like Lichtensteiger, and I like Williams. Montgomery has me a bit worried.
Mark it down. Skins draft Philip Blake center out of Baylor in the third. They then trade up for James Brown, offensive tackle out of Troy in the late 3rd to come in middle of the season.

you heard it here first....!!!

That's the number i was after. No point cutting Moss for that savings, unless they think he's done...
Safe to say Gaffney is done here? How many receivers does one team need?
Hankerson Paul Gaffney Armstrong Moss Royal Garcon Morgan Stallworth
I's have to think Stallworth and Armstrong are gone for sure.
Gaffney was CLUTCH.......last year...!!!
Moss will be gone before Gaffney,Stallworth also. Royal still hasn't signed but if he does, Banks and Austin are gone. Armstrong might make it to camp
As far as Garcon's deal, full guarantees are only $13.1 million not the $21.5 million. Rest are guarantees for injury. Morgan signed a 5 yr deal that voids to two... meaning he'll have to prove he fits.

Ok, so if Garcon hasn't become our #1 rcvr, our go to speed guy as Bill Polian stated on ESPN a while ago, then who is? That had to have been the thinking when we got him.....

He'll probably wait to see where Manning goes, they may need a centre.

Chief what are those guys saying in Chicago? They got Brandon Marshall. They have to be happy about that.

I don't see how the WR situation affects Banks. He'll be cut or not depending on whether he's our best returner or not. Just like last year.
Don't expect a big name FA or you'll get your hopes beaten. They obviously thought Garçon, Royal (who root world is reporting is signed), and Morgan are perfect fits. Now I would expect a bunch of second tier blue collar players to fill in the holes
