I agree, but there is still plenty of time to blow this game. Again.

Evan Royster suffered a mild concussion. Shanny was hoping to see him play more.

Concusion= no trade and no play hopefully he clears waivers... Bum deal sounds like he looked good tonight

He was good. Had some shifty runs but the concussion may keep him available for a few weeks while we see what we can do with torrain. I don't think this guy can stay healthy.

i was totally freaked out when he didn't initially make the roster at the beginning of last year. thank goodness no one scooped him up.

He made the original 53, was later waived, added to PS & then reactivated.

I share your observations on Paul.

He deserves to make the team more than Hank, but you can't cut Hank this early in his career. If we keep 6 WRs, I don't see how we fit Paul.

Heeeccccckk no. Hankerson has way more upside than Paul. Hank plays the ball better than Niles at this point. Inside the 20's, I'm rolling with Hank. As secretive as Shanny is, I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't showcase this dude too much during the preseason for a reason. Dude is 6'3 245 pounds.... Who's getting jump balls in the end-zone? Not Santana Moss. Not Terrence Austin. Surely not Brandon Banks.

And not Hank either, if he can't catch.

Ok, just joking. Hank does catch the jump balls, it is the easy ones he drops - the ones right in the bread basket, but give him credit he did catch that one last night even though he had to turn an easy catch into an acrobatic one.

As I said, you can't cut Hank, but but it is tough to see a guy (Paul) get cut who appears to have done everything asked of him - catch balls, fight for underthrown balls, run block, return kicks, cover kicks and get separation on his routes.

Rich Tandler
Niles Paul started the game and played throughout the game. In the first half he had two receptions for 27 yards, including a 19-yard catch. He had some separation a few other times and did not have any drops or glaring errors.

http://www.realredskins.com/rich-tandle ... -bucs.html

The sad thing about Hank is he had all off season to work on his concentration for catching easy balls and failed to do fix it. It took Roddy White of the Falcons 4 yrs to fix his dropsy problems and it wasn't until Joe Horn took him under his wings and make him catch hundreds of balls a day to fix it. How long are we going to stuck with "50/50" before he wakes up like Roddy White?

BTW per Redskins.com

Hank is:

Hankerson, Leonard WR 6-2 209 22 R Miami (Fla.)

Paul is

84 Paul, Niles WR 6-1 224 22 R Nebraska

Hankerson has had some mental drops ( running b4 catching), that'll get resolved with time. His hands are the size of tennis rackets. And IMHO, he's just a playmaker as seen by his record setting performance as a Hurricane. I'm not saying I dont like Niles but if I had to roll with one into week 1... I'd roll with Hank.

Now, that I got that off my chest, I am with you with Hank.

someone else will pick up Royster if we try to put him on the PS. the Lions, for instance.

Well let him go. If he ain't good enough to crack the roster why worry? RB's come a dime a dozen. Its not like we have old guys starting in front of him and saving him. We have a few guys that can play at least 3 years ahead of him.
