Which is a huge mistake so far as I'm concerned. Two roosters in the hen house doesn't work out. Any farmer can tell you that. Name Beck the starter and be done with it. If he ****s up, then he loses the job. A team that has as many new parts on offense as this one cannot get any level of solidity or consistancy when its key component keeps getting replaced every third series.
Red_One43 wrote:It is good to play a tough opponent and show us were we need to improve, but based on the positives we look darn better - But I am not expecting us to go to the Super Bowl.
We don't look awful. We don't even look as bad as last year. However, we definitely do not look like a team that is ready to play a DIVISION OPPONENT two weeks from Sunday. The mental errors drive me NUTS. Especially since they were not there the last two weeks. Those things should NOT have much to do with an opponent because they are totally under the control of the individual who makes the mistake.
Red_One43 wrote:As you have seen, we have some weak links to fix and you know what, they probably won't get fixed this year.
Oh, we have some REALLY weak links. Considering the lack of push to sign many significant free agents this offseason, I have much less willingness to forgive glaring holes like our lack of depth at CB.
Red_One43 wrote:This is year two of the building process. From what I see, this team will get better as the season moves along and will compete at least be in the running for the division championship.
Gee, I still can't find any audio of Shanny or Allen saying we're in "rebuilding" mode. Until I hear that out of one of their mouths IN A PUBLIC PRESS CONFERENCE, I expect that this team is looking to COMPETE FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT if not a DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP.

Tirico said knee sprain, but the look on Shanny's face after the trainer whispered in his ear did not look promising.

From Bleacher Report:
After the team's trainers did some work on Jenkins, he was taken off the field. A short while later, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post tweeted that Jenkins had suffered a strained knee, making his return questionable.
Phew... hope that's all it is... dude is a stud.

I would call that balanced scoring.

Missing a ST TD...
Missing a ST TD = Missing Brandon Banks
If BB can't get his knee healthy, he may be mssing altogether.

Way past that. Started down that road much earlier.

For what it's worth, I have twelve hens and five roos in the same pen. All is fine. Even with four Narragansett turkeys in there as well. Just sayin'.

1st team Raisins O vs our 2nd Team D. But that should not be an excuse.

Check my post, RF. I didn't say the taboo "R" word. I said "building."
Understand your concerns, but that is why we have preseason to find out what needs fixin'. It's good to see the ugly truth now than conceal it and find it out later. Its better not to have the issues to begin with but I don't see the Ravens as issueless either. Their hands are full with a so called lesser team.

You show me any NFL team whose backups can stop a playoff-calibre offense. Then we'll talk . . .

Doubt it. Please the hometeam fans. Especially those who so clearly have a chip on their shoulders for being the second team in the region.
