You don't get instant support from me simply because you wear the uniform.

Hell, Gibbs even takes the blame every Monday. I'm not saying he's washed up, but the game has changed dramatically and he has yet to adjust completely.TincoSkin wrote:Champsturf wrote:so is you calling me nieve....I'm sorry but I didn't know you were an expert on "how it works." i dont think he can take it back.. i dont know if he has the power. hed have to talk to danny the guy paying Al millions of dollars, if it were up to gibbs then we'd be in a different situation right now
you are nieve to think its that easy to hire a multimilliondollar coach to run an offfense then just toss him aside in an organization such as the redskins. a man so respected as Al who has accomplished so much is not thrown to the wayside because the coach(not a GM, not a man signing checks, not investers)wants to take back control the control he gave up just last year. thats not how it works.![]()

so you really think gibbs has the ability to fire the offensive coordinator half way through a season?
hes not in charge. dont you get it. he gave control of the O to Al. you think our O under performs cuse gibbs is calling plays? we made the playoffs last year with gibbs coaching. then he thought, as (ahem) many do that the game has passed him by. now Al has control and look how good our O is. obviously gibbs is washed up if someone else is running the O and they cant get it done.

There's the biggest misconception ... Saunders HAS NOT accomplished nearly as much as everyone gives him credit for.
Before this season, he has been in charge of an NFL offense for 16 seasons. In those 16 seasons he's helped his team win four division titles and make all of EIGHT playoff appearances. (He wasn't OC for the 99 Rams when they won the Super Bowl)
That's no genius in my book.
I don't give a rat's behind about his offense being ranked #1. Show me T-shirts (the ones that say you won something), trophies and rings.
And, in that regard, he's nothing.
you may be right but hes still respected in the leauge and its harder than we would like to get rid of him.. hes dragging down our O but its hard to get rid of him.. maybe next year we will have adjusted to his style of play but as of right now we still have a gibbs attitude in an Al offense. hes not going anywhere, so sorry to bring bad news
your so upset about the conversation were having youre going after my other posts with no new insight? wow bright. maybe you could add somthing to what skins freak and i are discussing. maybe not.

So Gibbs isn't in charge, but was able to delegate his control over the offensive play calling? And now he's not allowed to take control back, because he gave it away? If he thought it has passed him by, then where is his confidence? Why is he even staying?TincoSkin wrote:Champsturf wrote:ABSOLUTELY. Don't bother waiting for another response from me on this. I'm tired of beating my head against that wall.
