I also agree however that's NOT what happen when Mark was replaced by Letfiwich, Gibbs said Mark and Todd both disagreed with the switch but I think they'll give Jason all the help he asks for

Assuming JC is our starter going forward, I would seriously love to have Brunell as a back up QB. He's exactly what you want in a back up. A tough vet who can come off the bench and not throw 12 INTs. I hope Mark sticks around.

He's a great guy and I thank him for everything he did, especially the playoffs last year and the Dallas Miracle (version 1.0). But it's time for the Skins to find out if JC is the real deal.

Mark was injured and replaced by Lefty. Mark did nothing to help the kid then to a trip up I95 the next year, the rest you know.

FTR: Mark wasn't a issue on the sidelines or in the locker room. Just wasn't very supportive of Byron

The more realism the better, imo. We Skins fans need to temper our expectations on this one. This is the right move. It's not going to save our season.

I will root for JC but there's a reason why he's been on the bench for two plus years now. Look at Dallas, you heard before the season that Romo was pushing Bledsoe for the starting job. Did you ever here that in D.C.? JC was 3rd on the depth chart coming into the season...I think we are about to see why.

I hope he's been studying like crazy and developing relationships with people on the team. He's gonna need all the help he can get, since this is his first game in the NFL, first game with the #1 string, first game in the new offense, and, well.... you get the point.

Best wishes, JC. I'll be praying for ya.

I personally don't think this move is going to make any immediate difference.

We have a lot more problems than just QB.

However, I still feel like switching to Campbell is a no-brainer since he's the first round pick future QB and we aren't going anywhere this year anyways. Time to find out if he's got it.

Add my name to the list of people who want to see Rocky starting as well. I mean give me one reason why he shouldn't start? Our defense is one of the worst in the NFL and we are 3-6. What's the worst thing that could happen?

What does everyone honestly think about Campbell? He did have one of the best backfields in NCAA history. He really was a nobody until his last year at Auburn. Skins thought more highly of him than seemingly every other team. What do we really know about him? Just playing devil's advocate here.

I am not going to be unrealistic. He hasn't taken an NFL snap in a reg season game ever. And, not to mention, he hasn't played in a real game since college...we can't expect him to be Donovan McNabb right out of the gate...but we have to be patient.

I really don't have an opinion on him. He strikes me as a class act, and a kid who's waited patiently for his turn. He will certainly get 100% support from yours truly, as it was Joe's decision to bring him in.

Joe moved up to get him.
Joe decided when he should go in.

Time for the Campbell era to begin, win or lose!!!!

Hail to the Skins!

Oh I am sure that he will make mistakes but I think he brings opportunity to this team.

I agree but man to see Romo playing so well....it makes me very jealous. I say (if we even have any left) no matter how well Campbell plays we should draft a QB late in next years draft. Hahaha JMU actually has a Romo type guy. It can't hurt, hell we waste enough picks anyway.

Maybe I'm an ass but I do not feel sorry for Brunell like some of you here. I am so glad he is gone.

Plus, wait until he gets a taste of Simeon Rice blasting him in his blind side.

And unfortunately it might happen often because Rice seems to have Chris Samuels number.

Yeah, not just Romo...look at Rivers, Gradkowski, Manning, Leinart, heck even Vince Young had his team in position to beat the Ravens if it weren't for a blocked FG. A lot of teams are riding with a young Quarterback.

I feel bad also but its like with any job. If you are not performing to the expected level of the position, you get let go. Atleast he has an opportunity to come back.

And it's not like some of these teams are just getting by with their young qb's. The Chargers are one of the best teams in the NFL right now and Rivers is playing as well as any qb in the league. I'm not saying that JC is going to be great, but being a young qb in the NFL doesn't necessarily mean that you are going to struggle.
