...and time for a defensive stand. Take the ball back, avoid the penalties, drive it.

That is Gibb's conservative philosphy. I don't think many coaches have plays for 3rd and 29 anyway though.

Most of the time it has been like a jailbreak on passes and even on a lot of the running plays the guys at right in Portis' face as he's taking the handoff. We're just lucky he has made them miss. Just like the play a few minutes ago where they had him for like a 5 or 6 yard loss but he escaped and turned it into a 1 or 2 yard gain.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I think for the most part, Brunell has had a lot of time. They've gotten in there a few times, but usually on blitzes. I still say put Rmasey in and I'll keep saying that until they do.

Okay, if having a guy in his face and him ending up on his back after every pass is good protection, then yeah, our o-line is doing great.
Edit: Don't get me wrong though, I don't think Brunell is playing well at all. I just don't think our OL is helping much though, that's all.

some do. you know the ones who have a qb in that can actually throw it 30 yds.

you tellin me minny wouldn't have gone for it, or philly, or stl?
