You guys that went to training camp said it and I have to agree Portis looks a lot like Barry Sanders in the open field

Portis is a beast! He showed good this game. I wonder what he will do against less stingy defenses? The Bucs are very fast and is the only D that can stop VICK.

I have to disagree with this statement

I think Vick would have his hands full with the Washington Redskins Defense

I love the fact that they blitzed on that last play. That shows you how the redskins will play defense this season. No more of that prevent crap. That has killed us for years. We should have won by much more, but the difference this year is that we STILL won. Great job to everyone on the team. =)

Gotta love it.
Bowen - monster in this new D-system.

GREAT game guys. Let's keep in mind that we actually dominated AND won. If Coach would've thrown his little red flag at least once, we probaly wouldn't have been sweating it so much in the 2nd half. Or even if the replay booth would have made that challenge with 1 min left in the 1st half.

Portis looked great, the guys is unbelievable. You can also see why we need a bigger back the Portis at times also.

Gibbs after the game said things were going our way and he didn't want to do anything to change the momentum... his press conf. is on 980 now

Our defense held the Bucs to 3 points, so when you look at it that way it was even more impressive.

I'd guess so he can talk with Brunell like the coaches do with their headsets!

"HOW SWEET IT IS" Are you ready for (more Redskin) Football?

30 yards rushing, 150 passing. I think Greg Williams may have something there

It seemed like a passing game went lame after the half. Rod Gardener dropped the 1st pass of the season and I almost cursed. He made up for it but dissapeared.
Brunell's lack of arm strength showed up in this game. Though he is the better QB, I know Ramsey would have connected with Coles on one of those long bombs.

on the money with that one Chris. Brunell played a good game, but definitely showed his lack of arm strength. None of his long passes were ahead of the receiver. Almost got picked a couple times.
