Darth, one of the champions in the league managed the heck outta his team. Hero, the brutha almost didn't make it in the playoffs to begin with but first he beat me and now he's on his way to RFK Stadium where the Hog Bowls are played What's cool to me is that Hero beat a Hog Bowl Champ to advance, and Darth who is a champ himself beat last year's champ to advance. I love this ish!!! Will Darth be the first to get 2 Hog Bowls or will Hero secure his place for the first time in the Hog Bowl Ring of Fame? Stay tuned......

I'm probably in the minority but I think it is far worse to play a fantasy player against the Redskins than it it to play any Cowboy against someone else - particularly against the Giants or Eagles.



Some people made a living off of playing guys against us.

2nd place goes to HEROHAMO who came in under the radar in the 8th and final playoff spot and managed to go all the way to the big game where he fell short.
3rd place this season goes to a former champion Cappster.



I hope I see you all back next year as we try and knock down DarthMonk from that reaaaaally high horse. lol.

The following is just nuts.

I had 3 IDPs explode. Kuechly went for 19.00. Then a game-day pickup named Will Hill went for 18.40. Then last night I turned on the game and saw Atlanta lining up for an onside kick. It skipped past Bowman - my last IDP. Then Atlanta drives down to the goal line and I say, out loud, "Wouldn't it be something if Bowman got a 90 yard pick six here?" On the very next play he got an 89 pick six.

One more thing. Hero dropped Andy Dalton (for Cutler) who went for 42.3. If Hero had played Dalton I would have trailed up until that pick six which then would have given me the victory by 9/10 of a point.

You are a funny guy, Deadskins. I would say all of us veterans of the THN FF League gave it a good go this year. DM had too strong of a team as illustrated by his overall point total for the year and he truly is a THN FF God. I personally hit on a couple of good players (Peyton and Charles) that I felt like really carried my team so I need to have a better balance of players and increase my chances of going all the way! This is truly my favorite league to play in (partially because I usually tend to do well) and I know this is the first league I keep tabs on before I visit my other "money" league. And I was even so disgusted with the Redskins this year I actually played my fantasy players against our team as if we were going to loe the game, I was going to win my FF matchup!

RG3 was my keeper from last year but didnt use him much, then when I wanted to he got benched...hahaha. Had to use Cutler/McNown and even Flynn (v/s Dallas) down the stretch. Had Murray/Bush/L.Bell at RB, Marshall/Decker/Garcon (traded for) at WR and Graham and Gronk at TE....Gronk got hurt on my playoff bye and my K (Hartley) got cut and I didnt have any FRA $$$ to spend....still won without a Kicker.....LOL

We have 14 people in our league though so you WON'T have a stacked team like you did in a 10-man league.
THNFF has IDPs as well so if you never did it before I'm sure you'll find it really fun. This is also a 1/2 point PPR league and we have a pretty good bonus structure in place too. Starting roster for offense is pretty basic; QB, (2) RB, (2) WR, TE, and a W/R/T Flex spot. Defense/ST, kicker, (2) DB, (2) LB, and a IDP Flex spot that you can use any defensive position (including DL). For the bench we only have 5 slots- My thinking was QB/WR/TE/RB/DEF but of course you can use your bench however you'd like. Ex.. Our champ (Darthmonk) had 2 bench spots on offense, 1 for a defense, and 2 for IDPs.
Next season we'll put up a new thread/sticky for the '14 season and I'll publicly invite everyone but the current members do have first priority. Keep in mind that not everyone returns (even though there is a corp group that has been with me from day 1) and I'll set a deadline date for them to accept the invite and that's when I'll open it up for other THN members... at that point it'll be 1st come 1st serve. I'm trying to avoid 16 teams because I found at that number, people give up and stop setting their starters and that really messes up the league. Last season we didn't have that issue, everyone played all the way to the end and it made for a hell of a finish. Heck, I was cruising at #1/#2 all season and got bumped in the first round of the playoffs by the #8 seed!!!
