Why go for 2? Isn't that only when you're behind late in the game, or you don't plan on scoring anymore? Let's not shut it down at least until the fourth quarter.

I don't think so. It would have been 3 TD's and a filed goal to tie. Now the Vikes Need 3 TD's and a field goal to win.

I'll third that. The possible gain of two points outweighed the necessity of one point. It didn't hurt to miss the two point conversion.

A three touchdown + 1 point lead is nothing to complain about.
Let's just hope the second half looks like the first one.

If that's the case, I'm all for it. But usually it's an indication of the opposite. You go for two if you don't think you'll score again.

I think it's incredibly stupid to go for two at any time, for any reason in the first half. Dungy, Belichick, Gibbs, doesn't matter.
