i wouldn't say they look sharp. they are hanging in there but haven't settled in yet

Here we go. I hate playing NFC East teams. We look great against a superior team like the Jags then look bland and iffy against a team like the Giants.
Rivalry's are stressful.

Playaction has been an issue for us. I have yet to see Brunell complete one and he just seem comfortable enough to do it yet.

I'd say we're lucky it's 3-3. Feeley missed a short field goal and Pierce easily could have taken that dropped interception back to the house.
As long as it's close at halftime, I think we'll be fine. I really think we're only an adjustment or two away on offense. Defensivley, I'm not so sure.

That's all true, but it's partially because he's being asked to be the number one when he should be the number two. We can't have the safties shade his way because we have Wright and Rumph on the other side.
I don't really buy that explanation though. Missing int's and tackles has nothing to do with "being asked to do too much." He was dropping int's last season too (Seattle game). And I don't think that he is somehow going to become more fluid or gain speed when Springs comes back.

That was on ST so we can't say much. They are just schooling us deep today and I don't see it letting up.
I don't understand why teams just don't go deep every play..they are bound to complete 1 out of the 3 downs if they keep doing it.

Come on Defense - lets go. Pick it up. Thats twice you've let them in our territory off of long passes

We need a turnover here - badly. We need the momentum swing in our favor

That's true, I was referring to his coverage. Rogers can't catch - that's probably never going to change. I would hope his tackling would improve once he becomes more comfortable with his coverage abiltiies (he just had a nice one there).
One good thing about our secondary is that they all can tackle (at least in theory), so when they get down to the red zone we are much more effective. As much as I hate watching defenses like this, we might be in for a bend-but-don't-break season.
