Better draft pick fellas. The Skins will lose their next three.

This is not COACHING. CATCH THE BALL and Kick the field goal.

Clock management, play calling, and halftime adjustments aren't coaching? Who knew???

Ryan Torain had 172 yards rushing for the day. He was fun to watch. Too bad kickers have to spoil the fun.

This "team" is a joke. What a bunch of losers. I am SOOOO glad that I quit spending the money on the Sunday Ticket.

It will be a cold day in Hell before I watch them play live again. I've only seen them once and that was a loss to Cleveland a few years back. Anyone think Cleveland was any good then? They weren't. In typical Redskins fashion, our team decided that Cleveland was a good team and wanted to prove it.

Why would they be kicking an extra point there anyway? 2 missed FGs and barely squeaking in and extra point? Let Torain pound the rock. UGH!

It's nice to come away with at least one bright spot. There have been weeks where we didn't even get that.

YEP.....Kicking unit= Epic Fail... cost us this one.

Oh well maybe someone would have got hurt in OT anyway.

Better to get a good draft anyway.

How sad is it that this was one of the better games this season.
1 of 3 inside 35. Thanks, Gano.

That is what I said. The kicking team has been atrocious today, why not pound the rock in for a win. Dumb play calling!

This reminds me of that playoff game against tampa bay when they did
the same thing on a field goal attempt.

Yeah I hate to admit I was kind of glad when we muffed the snap. We'll feel better about it in April.

You guys are still watching this pathetic group? What a waste of time! I stopped watching them weeks ago. When they field a team worth watching, I'll start watching them again....

172 Yards. 158 of them in the FIRST HALF. Maybe somebody should have smacked KS in the head about the middle of the third quarter and reminded him that Ryan was still on the team.

Please, reality check. We won 5 games and almost beat the Texans and hung with the Colts until late. We lost this a botched extra point from OT. I realize the wailing crowd is dominating the conversation right now, but they can't change the facts. Last year we were out of most of the games, this year we're not. Sorry to let facts stand in the way.

The words to describe today are: Disgusting, Pathetic, and Unacceptable.

This team needs a serious attitude adjustment from the Coaching Staff on down.

They left FOURTEEN POINTS on the field in the first half, and gave up three that never should have happened.

At some point some people in this gameday operation (coaches & players) needs to start receiving the blame and the accountability for what's going on out on the field every week. I'll tell you the first three that I think need to have that done.... Kyle Shanahan, Jim Haslet, and Donovan McNabb. That would be a nice START. Of course you add Graham Cracker Gano to that list after this week as well.

I'd rather be out of the games, thank you very much. Then I don't end up wasting three hours of my life that I'll never get back on garbage like this. I'll take an Eagles or Giants game where I can pay my tab at the bar and walk out the door 5 plays into the game and not worry about missing anything of significance over this sort of putrid, fetid waste any day of the week.

If you didn't get any enjoyment out of the Skins today on both sides of the ball then you really shouldn't be watching the games to begin with. Yeah, there were frustrating parts but on both sides of the ball there were definitely reasons to be optimistic. Our D shut them down in the first half and even though our O was three and out a lot of the second half didn't collapse. The O had a freaking running game, it was spectacular. With the game on the line the O went right down the field and stuck it in. Even with so many holes on both sides of the ball, we showed a lot of heart today. That means nothing to you?

I don't deal in Optimism. I deal in the cold hard realities of WINNING and Losing; of Dominating or being Dominated. When push came to shove this team got their weekly wedgy and shoved into the high school locker by a very AVERAGE Tampa Bay team.

KazooSkinsFan wrote:Our D shut them down in the first half and even though our O was three and out a lot of the second half didn't collapse.

Our entire team played THIRTY MINUTES of football today. I figure the Offense did just enough in the second half to offset those parts of the first half (inside Tampa's 25) where they decided to stop playing. The Defense, likewise. They had a couple bad plays in the first half and a couple good ones in the second, so I figure that evens out. Someone needs to explain to them AND THE COACHES that an NFL game is SIXTY MINUTES LONG.

KazooSkinsFan wrote:The O had a freaking running game, it was spectacular.

Only when the Baby Boy remembered that those plays were on his game script. Less than 20 rushing yards for Torain in the second half. He had a grand total of SIX touches in the entire second half after posting 158 yards in the first half. Maybe the Offensive Nepotiser ought to figure out how the heck to get him involved in the game the second half with those sorts of numbers.

KazooSkinsFan wrote:With the game on the line the O went right down the field and stuck it in.

Only to see it pissed away by the guy who should have been cut at the end of the first half. Before you say "But he didn't snap the ball" realize that it's immaterial if he hits both of those first half chip shots; and at that point I had no confidence he was going to hit the XP either.

KazooSkinsFan wrote:Even with so many holes on both sides of the ball, we showed a lot of heart today. That means nothing to you?

You're exactly right that means absolutely nothing to me. It's about WINNING. It's about DOMINATING your enemy for SIXTY MINUTES.

No, you don't. Reality is a combination of recognizing strengths and weaknesses. You are ripping them. This is the odd notion many have that negativity is "reality." I've fully acknowledged we're not a good team and we need a lot of work. You are acknowledging nothing, you are attacking. Reality my friend between us is solidly on my side, not yours. Sorry.

ROTFALMAO

The culmination of a post of complete and utter ignorance regarding the NFL and the game of football.

Raelity is the FACT that this team hasn't won a meaningful game since the end of January, 1992. Darn right I'm ripping them. I again wasted three hours of my life that I'll never get back on their lazy, worthless backsides this afternoon. We don't need "a lot of work". This team needs to simply be completely and totally disolved and restarted from scratch.

THIS WAS THE YEAR IT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE!!!!! THERE'S NO SALARY CAP!!!!! THEY COULD HAVE CUT PRETTY MUCN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM AND STARTED OVER FROM SCRACTH!!!! Instead we try to placate a fat piece of garbage DL and bring in another fat piece of garbage qb. This was this teams one opportunity to turn the corner and they've totally blown it.
