I stopped watching the game by the end of the 3rd quarter and before the second TD. I had a huge headache and the game was not helping out at all.

But I stand by my statement because the 2nd TD was a meaningless score.

But your statement is false b/c you stated 1 TD and he scored 2. In essence, both TDs were meaningless b/c the skins lost. Stop using stupid criteria for an agenda.

I have no "agenda"

If I had any and the means to achieve it, it would have been done, like many other things I have acomplished with success in my life.

The offense is inept and icompetent. What part of this do you wish to discuss in diisagreement here or smack? Your choice about topic and forum.

Shall we?

I'll wait until I'm not as grumpy. I realize you don't usually exaggerate and I didn't look at the poster. Maybe I'll get some sleep and and be more personable tomorrow.

Ok after watching what was some of the most tortourous moments in my recent Redskins memory. I have to say it was painful to watch but I did see some bright spots.

The secondary made some huge mistakes. But, overall I think the defense will be ok. Add another Linebacker in the mix and we will be really good there. Hey we have a pass rush now!

The Offense,
Well the Oline actually gave JC time last night. The playcalling was not an issue at all either. It was simply execution. Sure the Eagles got to Campbell but there were plenty of plays were Campbell had time. Come on Campbell put on a smile and hold your head up high. No one will follow a grumpy guy with bad body language! Come on brotha!

I was particularly impressed with Fred Davis and his route running. He needs to block better but still looked good. I also loved the way Devin Thomas fought hard for the first down when the game was over already. Get Devin and Fred Davis on the field they need to start. A double tight end set with Cooley and Davis would be great.

Since the season is already started bad? Why not try throwing more to Thomas, Kelly and Davis?
Come on Campbell, what do we have to lose now? Let Moss strech the field have Davis and Cooley roaming the middle with Devin Thomas running free to where the open zone is.

So what I would like to see is this.

Memo to Jason Campbell! Stop slouching out there! Pick your self up! Do not show the enemy any weakness. No matter how bad it may feel!

Most of all Believe in yourself! You can do it Campbell. You have all the tools in the world. You have height , good arm and good character.

Just go out there and do it! If not for us fans do it for yourself! Go out there and just say I will do the best I can! Refuse to lose.

Lets go Baby! Nine in a row!

I assume your comments about Cooley roaming the middle are in reference to NEXT season?!

I do think it's time to get as many young guys as possible involved now though. This should be about evaluating what we have left - consider the rest of this season to be one long preseason for next year. Davis will start anyway, Thomas needs to stay in the line up too - Kelly has had his chance, and not made much of it. Mitchell needs to see active service too.

This was a comment that Cerrato made today out at Redskins Park

"We didn't win," Cerrato said. "But I thought Sherm provided a spark, and I think the offense did some good things. ... I thought he did an excellent job."

you have to be kidding me - it is Vinny's estimation that this was an excellent job by Sherm - I though the play calling was a little better but it was not excellent and another part of that interview Cerrato states that he felt they gave Zorn the players he needed to be a playoff team

I hope that Snyder makes a big deal of getting rid of Cerrato

I am no Cerrato supporter.
But, I do think Sherm did call a good game. Any mistakes were soley on the players part. Botched snaps, missed throws, loss of contain, letting Jackson go deep and Randel El losing the football.

You cannot blame that on Sherm. Anyhow Cerrato is still clueless. No one can defend Vinny whatsoever.

There were a few playcalling hiccups, but definitely overall improvement. I am still scratching my head on the screen to Sellers.

Overall improvement is measured on the field. This team could not score more than the proverbial 17 points.

There were a number of instances when WRs were open, sometimes even for a TD, and JC did not have time, did not have confidence in his OL, or did not see them open.

It is not ONLY about play calling. This has been THE excuse. It is about some coaches and players on the field but most importantly, it is about the people, mainly those two, who put the team together.

Hack at the branches if you wish, the bad root is still there.

My 2 cents

I agree, but you can't change everything all at once in the middle of the season. Let's hope someone intelligent sees what we see and actually makes a change that will affect something.

Just a thought...

Why not play our rooks, and 2nd stringer offense. Give those guys a chance to show what they have in a game environment. We've already seen what Devin and Fred Davis can do why not see what Marko and Malcolm can offer. Well, ok, what Marko can offer. Put Orakpo next to AH92, put Tryon in place of Stinky22. Let's see who we can keep and who we can trade. Also, it would be kinda nice to page Chase Daniel and get him under center.

We're already playing the majority of our 2nd string offensive line...and that's not working out very well.

Instead, why not play whoever is BEST (regardless of experience and status) at each position?

But, let us be clear guys, there are not enough bodies to fill-in all the holes. That is a given.

Bright spot, from MNF?... My coworker, cousin and myself getting totally hammered during the pregame tailgate. Watching police lockup 2 drunk smeagels fans for cursing out the guy who directs traffik (yellow jacket guy). AWESOME.. oh wait, you meant the game? Honestly, at least I finally saw that Fred has some talent, unfortunately it was only because Cooooooooooooley got hurt.

You didn't say anything about a meaningless score when you made your statement. You've got a mouth full of crow juice, son, and trying to spit it out won't work.

I forgot to mention Reed Doughty. Doughty has been playing well. I really like the effort and his play on the field.

True. I acknowledged that I did not watch the second score. I was wrong but the point is valid: The offesne is a disaster. They have not scored more than 17 at any game this season.
