Then you don't follow the NFL, but some other "league."

Well there are over 50 players tied at 112th in the NFL in interceptions with 1 a piece. I think that pretty much covers it.
OK, so let's look at his stats by your criteria. He played 12 full 16-game seasons as a starter (his last three seasons he started 2, 4, and 4 games respectively, though he still managed 3 INTs in '00 despite only starting two games and playing in 13. In '89 and '92 he was injured and only started seven games in each.) In '86 and '88 he started 15 games each, and in the '87 strike year he started all 12 games, so I'll add those to his "full season" totals, bringing us to 15. In those 15 seasons, he made 47 INTs, a better than 3 per year average (by comparison, only 15 CBs had more than 3 INTs this year). In three of those seasons ('84, '86, and '91) he made 5 INTs and in '90 and '93 he had four each. This doesn't even account for his fumble recoveries (10), or punt returning duties (not exactly the position for someone with bad hands).

I will tell you what, I will just agree to disagree with you on this one as it seems to be endless and off topic. We can go on and on about this forever.

For the sake of not straying off-topic any further, I'll agree that you disagree with the factual history of DG's ability to catch. How's that?
