I doubt it was mocking. Much like here, there are still a lot of fans that think he can produce here. I had a little smile when he caught the ball. Then I didn't see him for the rest of the game. Sad, really, IMO. Either put him out with enough rope to hang himself(or rescue himself) or don't put him in at all. The 1 throw when both starters out crap seems insulting, even to me.

And you were able to discern this how?

yah, it's almost like they are playing with his feelings, giving him a dash of hope then quickly taking it away. He'll have his day, he will be given a chance (I hope) to hang himself, or prove everyone wrong.

Come on man.. have you never been to a game where there was saarcastic cheering??
1. I could tell from the tone of cheer. "Wow! Look at that! He actually made a catch!"
2. I could tell from every person sitting near me having this mocking look on thier face and the way they acted.
I guess I could assume it was ONLY everyone I saw in 216, 217, 117 & 114, but it seems it would be wierd if it was only the sections I was near.
Trust me, my sarcasm/mockery detector was on overload.

Actually, the Brandon Lloyd situation looks better. Based on the thread title I have nothing to add.

It happened in Philadelphia when the Skins played the Iggles. Remmeber when their punt return guy caught the first punt? The crowd cheered, since they had lost to GB because of, I believe, a handful of muffed punt receptions.
Even MNF announcers noted that.
It does happen, though I've can't remember it happening at FedEx. That might have been the first time.

The people in my section that I know all cheered because they realize B. Lloyd contributing is better than B. Lloyd on the bench.

BINGO! That is the EXACT sound that ws heard in FedEx on Sunday after BL's catch.
Again- I am VERY glad he got the catch. I hope he makes 100 more this year.
