Wow, D holds them to a 3 & out. We should get good field position again. Need to take advantage of this one.

for those who can't see the game

defense -- we're playing like last year which is very well. Carter is not playing on 1st and 2nd downs. OUr DLine is playing very well. They're putting pressure on the QB, finally.

offense -- we're playing like the past 3 years...wayyyyy too conservative and predictable. If we let JC come out this time and throw the ball on 1st down, or a down where no one expects it, the Panthers coach will have a heart attack.

teams -- very good on coverage, horrible on punt and kickoff returns. punter looks great, novak is a good college kicker.

1st play --- screen for cooley 6 yards
2nd play --- betts for 3 1/2 yards
3rd play --- duckett for 2 - first down.

betts can't gain big yards unless we're wayyyy ahead (like in Hou) so that means he'll avg. about 2/carry and we'll lose
