A good half of football. Now I start to worry whether the defence can keep the intensity up, and the offence can keep hold of the football.
Got to find a way to stretch this lead - I don't like our chances against this offence if they need a 2 minute drive for the winning field goal.
Guess I'm a real ray of light, aren't I?

First drive after half time has been ugly last few weeks
Hope the D dont give up the big play again this week

SD does get the ball to start the 2nd half so hopefully the D can set the tone and hold them and give the O some good field position.

I know this will sound crazy but
Doesn't sound crazy at all. Royal has proven that he wiffs on protecting the QB and drops wide-open passes.
Anybody is an improvement from that, and Johnson did well on that one pass. I can't see the game, but I assume he was at TE blocking. No wiffs.

Johnson made the same play that was open for Royal.. It's the same play we have seen thrown to Sellers for most of the year. Johnson caught it. Royal didn't. Just goes to show how one missed play can change a drive.

Is there a lot more pressure on Brees this week?
especially with Griffin on the field

Chargers seem to be doing their best to help us out here. Got to take our chance now and take it down the field for the TD. Looking to forward to finding out what adjustments Joe has made at half time.
