Maybe besides sending a message to Ramsey, Coach Joe is sending one to Portis as well. "We need to run well between the tackles"

After reading the scouting info on Broughton, he seems to be a better prospect than White...

All 4 of these day 2 guys will be special teams first and foremost. If they stand out on ST they will get time elsewhere, I bet.

Hopefully, the free agent market (undrafted and June cuts) will bring in OL and DL for camp fodder

Two Auburn Players and two military guys! Hmm!

All in all I'm pretty happy with the draft.

Perhaps the Two FBs indicate that Joe is going to start using FB's?

I agree that he is clearly looking for ST guys!

Good Offense + Good Defense + Good Special Teams =

Blowouts.

Last year we could have blown out the Giants, but SPECIAL TEAMS.....

Yea.

Keep in mind, no Depth Chart has been released...we don't know Gibbs master plan.

And to people who are complaining, SHUT UPPP!!!!
People ask what happened to our needs, but our needs are what the coach says our needs are!

I get the feeling we didnt get a DE because we have Philip "The Bear" Daniels in the Stable, coming off injury.

I'm suspecting once Philip gets back in the line up, our "Old Time O Line" Should be prett-y beast.

And with the nickname of "Nemo"!!!

If it were not for tearing his ACL in 2003 he would have gone much higher. He also did go to a small school where the compitition was not 1-A.

Broughton, selected in the seventh round, is pegged for running back and special teams. Byner apparently was blown away by Broughton's physical characteristics (including a 670-pound squat) in an on-campus workout last week.
"This guy's a man," Gibbs said. "To be quite truthful, Earnest was upset we didn't take him awhile back. He got kind of emotional about it, so we figured we better give him his way, or he was going to beat the slop out of me."

I told you guys I was hoping they might draft Broughton back in the 5th and 6th. He's gonna be great on special teams and he might develop into a jumbo package goal line monster.
