I'm guessing Brunell's body was taken over by aliens who supported Dallas.
Jerry Jones played Quarterback for us tonight...it was a scene from Face Off....Jones took Brunnells body and strapped it up.
No, you would have been able to tell... Jerry can run faster.

It's a new offense and it takes time to gel. They'll put it together soon.
I know a GREAT first step....
Change starting QBs.

Only Gel that is gonna help Brunell will come from Balco.

Don't worry guys....we're just keeping it Vanilla right now. Everything we've been doing has been to prepare for week 3 against Houston.

its like the old sayin goes, you build your team through the draft.all these trades we do are absolute bust.all this money we spend has been for nothing.have you even heard andre carters name mentioned.kenny wright is terrible, and the list goes on.it starts from the head office and works its way down.
im tired of hearing about this 700 page playbook we have, because i haven't seen seven differant plays.i feel bad for our recievers right now.theres no way they are covered all the time.have you ever seen a qb drop back as far as brunell and then throw it off his backfoot.its really dissapointing to watch.i know people say its only 2 games but we will be lucky to win 5 like this.
bottom line is,im tired of having my hopes up at the beginning of the year and getting let down like this.its time for a change in d.c. and i dont think its just the qb.

If Gibbs doesn't replace Brunell next week, he is officially losing it in my opinion.

My player of the game is Rock Cartright and Derrick Frost for 2nd. He was the only person who did his job effectively.

Anyway guys and gals, I do apolagize for all my negativity, but this has been a reacuring feeling most sundays for the past 9 years. Not to worry thought, the Skins are still my team and Ill be cheering them on next week @ Houston. I do hope there are some changes made this week, The texans will be a better opponent to work some things out, but shouldnt be taken lightly.

Where are those who supported the use of "vanilla" offense in preason. There is no such thing as "vanilla". It's just a nice way of hiding the fact the team sucks.

Justice Hog wrote:Yes, part of me wants Jason Campbell in there now...but another part of me is thinking that without Portis, we really can't guage Brunell's value at this time.
I know Betts isn't Portis, but he did everything asked of him tonight. Duckett didn't look horrible, either. Even Sellers caught a couple of balls out of the backfield. Our RBs aren't the problem. Our running game wasn't bad, it was the fact that Brunell couldn't pass the ball to a wide receiver. There were plenty of times when Brunell used the play-action to buy time, Dallas bit, and he
still couldn't find an open WR. Someone else brought it up earlier, but Brunell is starting this year the same way he finished last year. Both the Tampa and Seattle games (with Portis in the lineup) looked very similar to this offensively...

I agree. I would throw Taylor in a close third for the turnover and that nasty lick that sent T.O. to the sidelines.

Yeah he claimed on Real Sports that he didnt take steroids to save his reputation. Well at this point his rep won't get better until he gets on the juice.

I know some folks check out early on this psot. Who can blame them and yes I can say that I turned negative too. To keep the faith there has to be some evidence of some effort. I couldn't detect a heartbeat tonight. Were the Skins so paranoid during the pre-season that someone else would get hurt that they never showed that they could make this game plan work. Obviously, it still isn't coming together. They can't afford to wait any longer. No matter how much you want to keep on cherring, there are glaring problems and weaknesses on both sides of the ball.

The only playbook we have is the "post game" interview playbook. Gibbs always says the same thing.
