Well Mr. Simpson, I hope you are right

I can't remember but didn't I say like 13-3 or some kind of crazy nonsense that only a fan would say?

1. NO: Win. I think we suprise them w/o film for them to study.

2. STL: Win. New HC, offensive scheme, defensive scheme. Too much for 1st yr.

3. Cinci: Win. I'm a Dalton fan but our D will be too much for them.

4. TB: Win. My second team needs more time.

5. ATL: Loss. Good team, good system.

6. Minn: Win. close game but we take it with a better D.

7. NYG: Loss. Only cause we are in NYC. I really think we could take both again this yr.

8. Pitt: Loss. Were in Pitt folks. Terrible towels.

9. CP: Loss. Could go either way. Newton gives us fits.

10. Bye.

11. Phili: Win. At home with crowd noise? Besides Vick will be out by then.

12. Dal: Win. Coaching and Romo. I think they struggle this yr.

13. NYG: Win. It's home. I still think we might take both games.

14. BLT: Loss. Only cause they have been good for the last 10 yrs. Depends on injuries this late in the game.

15. CL: Win. Coaching and too much D for Weeden.

16. Phili: Loss. Only cause of Crowd noise. Could take this if Vick is out.

17. Dal: Win. It's home. Crowd noise. Plus the Girls are not as good offensively this yr.

10-6 folks. Wait didn't I say I would wear my goggles? Ok, some of the games could go either way but that could be said for all the games. how about 9-7.

Anything better then 4 wins is a plus and shows the team is heading in the right direction. MS will get another yr after this to see if he can do better with RG3 in the second yr. If not who comes in? Gruden?

Good job on this one

I predicted at best we'd be 7-9. Glad to see we've already exceeded my expectations!

Hey riggofan, found it. I had us topping out at 10-6.

While I didn't give a prediction for the actual record, in a way I did predict the overall outlook of the franchise. The fact that I felt this way before our winning season says a lot. I understand some people have to see it in the win/loss column, but to those who are really paying attention... The clues were there.

Sadly, too many fans don't realize how terrible the organization was. They don't understand how much work has gone into it. This franchise is not what it used to be, but at least we're no longer the laughing stock of the league. It's an organization that's viewed in a positive light now. I'm grateful for that.

This is the sentiment which causes decisions that results in a need for even more patience.

Snyder most importantly cannot be impatient cus he's been a failure since buying the team. Mike wasn't here for that. Going into the third year of rebuilding an ENTIRE business... Roster, facilities, trainers, coaches, Front Office... 3 years isnt a long time.

hah. Thanks man! I kind of remembered lots of people expecting 7-9, 8-8 with an eye on the 2013 season. The predictions look a lot more optimistic this year.

Credit to you and the Hogster both for calling 10-6.

Well, I went 11-5, but in fairness, we should have had that first vaGiants game.

Don't you always go 11-5 though? I need to take a look at the 2011 and 2010 prediction threads... ;)

I understand that wins and losses are all some care about - the reality is, this franchise is now heading in a good direction - we will be a contender for the NFC East again no matter how many games we win

Bruce and Mike (and many others here) have done an incredible job in a few years

I doubt we win every game but I'm expecting to see a team that could win every game

12-4

Rookies Chris Thompson & Jordan Reed prove to be X factors.

Orakpo has 15+ sack season

Amerson starts on the Outside by end of year

Rambo is a DROY candidate

10 - 6 or 11 - 5...depending on the breaks...both breaks in the game and injuries.

Robert Griffin does much less running; continues to be a great passer; OL improves; defense improves. Defense backs will determine a lot.

Adding rgiii passing for over 3k makes your list sound spot on!

I stand by my 19-0 prediction I make every year....

I feel like we are an 11-5 team (barring injury), but the schedule is difficult:
- We have tough @ games against GB, ATL, and DEN. I think we lose these.
- I see us beating CHI, SD, DET, and KC. Vs. SF will be a VERY tough game to win. KC could very well be one of those teams that pre-season is circled as an "easy win" but very well could end up being a tough W.
- @ MINN should be a win, but it is away.
- The 12/29 game @ NYG may very well be to determine the NFC East.

My honest assessment is 10-6, but this is dependent on RGIII making a full recovery and showing last year's form.

We'll win games we shouldn't, and lose at least 1 or 2 we should win.

We were 10-6 last year & I expect us to continue to improve. I'm sticking with 12-4.

I like 12-4. I also really need them to win that game in ATL. It will be my daughter's first Redskins game, would like a win to go with the memory. My first game was the '91 home opener against the Lions (45-0 win @RFK) and I'll never forget it.

13-3, the defense isn't spectacular but it's better than last year, the O-line continues solid improvement, Morris is Morris and a rookie steps up to give him some breaks and RG3 is the difference staying healthy and spreading his throws across the field.

I'm really thinking that 11-5 is a legit number, and perhaps 12-4 if key folks stay healthy. I'd love to see 13-3, but that's a real tough number to make, and particularly with the schedule we're facing.

11-5 wins the division, and that I think is a very achievable target. It's going to be an exciting season ... I'm really anxious to see how the rooks in the secondary develop. I just have a feeling that Rambo is going to take that free safety spot, and he's going to give us a real boost there .. which was our single greatest weakness last year. With Rak back ... some young talent in the backfield, and a healthy Garcon and Davis adding to an already prolific offense ... I see some big things happening, and I do not think this team will dig itself into a hole like they did last year. I see a pretty steady 6-2 start, and a 5-3 (or 6-2 if a couple of bounces go our way) finish.

11-5, maybe 12-4.
