I will assume it was intended for ME. Sorry, but the rate-paying electric customers of Southeastern MA and RI have been the focus of my attention for the last 48 hours or so. Especially the 70,000 or so who were without power yesterday.

Is this another stupid politics discussion or is that about 1st round QB draft?

LPJ, I think he's talking to you. You were the last to post before him.

 Naw man, no one comes at me with smack, I'm the 'get-along-guy'.. I agree with everyone just so they would shut up.

Back to what I was saying.. If we can get one of those good OL in the first round, I say we do it.. but than again I don't know if there's a bunch out there as I read it back in December. I'm still thinking we can get a good one (qb) in another round.. wait, we do have a 2nd round pick right? I get confused with all the draft giveaways we do.

Which is why I'm trying to stir something up between you two. It would make for great entertainment.

Hey RiC, LPJ says If you come at him with smack, he would shut you up!

I agree, it's no fun exchanging insults with you in smack because you're too nice a guy. I don't have that problem.

Ummm... RiC's Canadian... they are ALL nice... (or, at least that's the stereotype)

whoever started that had CLEARLY never watched hockey

1. Build the OL

2. Build the DL/LB

The NFL has not changed so much as to invalidate the Joe Gibbs Principle: the lines are the engine; the skill guys are passengers.

3. Redskin first round QB picks (that I remember):

- Campbell
- Ramsey
- Shuler
- Joe T (traded for him after he was drafted and went to the CFL)
- Beban (traded for him after he was drafted but before he signed)
- Snead
- Guglielmi

Other than Joe T and Norm Snead, any keepers? (Yes, Stormin' Norman was pretty good, though not great, like Sonny)

Drafting a first round QB is pretty flukey.

Redskins history is fantastic stuff but it is just that, 'history' and in no way can be used as any sort of indicator or guideline

the only way to ensure a successful program is to have a really good QB - all the other pieces are fine and good - this franchise will find a really good QB soon

we have many issues and positions of need - the QB position is critical, the rest of the 'needs' and 'wants' are just that

No problem, brother.

1. Deadskins: Nice try. You owe me. I will be the instigator elsewhere.
2. LPJ: brother, I would never pick a fight with you ever in this board much less in person (Have you seen the his size and punch power???)
3. CT: I do not fit the alleged nice stereotype. Profesional life has effected a profound transformation in my character to force me to switch roles like a camaleon depending on the circumstances. But just to make you happy ... one of the sides can be ever so nice.

and not so nice when the circumstances demand it otherwise :wink

Oh !!! The DRAMA !!! Get a real life !

And now that power has been restored, I still think that your posts are useless and lower the value of the hread. I would rather not have your posts onboard at all.

Please QUIT ... for good.

Given the snippet of the real life we've seen, can you not understand why the imaginary one ends up being the preferable place to reside? Especially when the real residence is an automobile and the price of heating fuel, er, gas, is going up...
