I just dont understand what the coaches are thinking. After we run the ball so well last game, Torain has 5 carries in the first half, 5 CARRIES...thats unreal.
What the coaches are thinking... I can sum it up:
..................................
hahahaa true, very true

I agree defense sucks hope they make some major changes this offseason.
Change #1: Fire Haslett.
It isn't Haslett's fault he was brought in to run a defensive scheme without the personnel to run it.
It's his defensive. He should be fitting the scheme to the players.

just make the changes this offseason to make it better finding better players to fit would help.

Torain isn't getting carries because Shanahan isn't going to see anything from Torain that he hasn't already seen ... or because he needs to make his incompetent son look like he should hold the same position next year.

You would think so... however, Haslett is equally comfortable, and has run, both 3-4 and 4-3 schemes... so, why would he not use his personnel in a scheme that most fit their skill sets? Perhaps he is doing what the boss has directed him to do...

Could be...or he's just a bad coach. I'd bet it's a combination of both.

A good coach doesn't try to fit square pegs into round holes. I don't understand why they HAVE to run the 3-4. If you run the 4-3 correctly it is no worse than a 3-4 if ran correctly.
Top 10 Defenses:
Chargers- 3-4
Giants- 4-3
Jets- 3-4
Steelers- 3-4
Dolphins- 3-4
Saints- 4-3
Vikings- 4-3
Bears- 4-3
Packers- 3-4
Ravens- 3-4
Thats four 4-3 defenses in the top 10 so its not like 3-4 defenses are far better and dominant. Run whats best for the personnel you have. It was a stupid move to go to the 3-4.

exactly. He's actually had more experience in the 4/3 showing 3/4 tenancies.

I hope he can stay healthy for next year. I think it is a completely different offense when he is in there.

Looks to me like it's just as much about Dallas just playing soft... stupid on their part... I don't see them allowing this to get within 7.

That wasn't roughing the passer but if they called that bump Carter gave Kitna roughing the passer then they have to give us that.
