So whatcha think folks, this is my team from my cousin's league...
QB- Favre, Cutler
RB- Chris Johnson, Ryan Matthews, Jamal Charles
WR- SimsWalker, Smith (NYG), Dwayne Bowe, Austin Collie
TE- Coooooollllleeeeey, Heath Miller, Fasano
DST- Dallas, Miami
K- Drunkenkowski (Raiders)
IDPs- Ray Lewis, Chad Greenway, Orakpo, Demarcus Ware, Eric Weddle (SD), Erik Coleman (ATL)
For IDPs we do 2 LB/DL and 2 DB. For week 1 I'm starting Ray and Chad. I was gonna start Orakpo but I want to follow up on the cows o-line closer to game time before I make that decision. If I do I'll take out Greenway for Orakpo and leave Ray in because he's playing the Jets on a night game.

LPJ, this might be a stupid question but how is the order determined? Or is it random?

# of posts at THN!
Seriously though, this question made me go check the settings for the league, and I have a couple of suggestions.
1. The draft should snake after the first round.
2. Waiver priority should be based on draft order, and then you go to the back of the list after a waiver acquisition.

I thought it was set that way???? Lemme go check again, thanks for the headsup.
Oh, and Teeter it's totally random and Yahoo releases the order 30 minutes prior to the draft

The snaking thing is probably set that way, but I couldn't tell by the settings. The waiver order resets weekly based on the standings, though, and I think it should be set to continually rolling instead.

Ok, I see what's going on.. yes, I should have indeed changed it to continual rolling list.
Continual rolling list: waiver claims are processed in waiver priority order and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list

Hopefully this moves along pretty quickly. How long does it usually take to finish online?
We usually do ours offline with a bunch of icy coldies and some bbq around here, and that can take all night haha.

One other thing. You may want to set the post-draft player's status to free agents, rather than follow waiver rules.

I'm making a make or break power move this weekend... in another league I have Arian Foster and I'm benching him. I think he won't do much against our defense. I believe Haslett and Shan are going to take the approach like they'll have to beat us through the air. Not trying to debate the game here but that's my reasoning behind it.
In his place I'm thinking of starting Collie.. it's a night game @ home for the Colts and coming off a loss I think Peyton is going to be furious. Garcon had a couple drops hence Collie having a great game 1. If it isn't Collie than I'm debating on either Driver who I don't want to play vs Bufalo defense..or Naanee vs a weak Jax passing defense..or LT vs NE. LT is in the mix because Sanchez isn't ready to throw it all over the field. I don't think any defense will give him time. Plus I think Rex will turn to the running game way more this time because NE doesn't have a good defense like Ravens did.
So... Collie/Driver/Naanee/LT ?
