Raiders are next. I see Crabtree or Heyward-Bey in their future.

Andre Smith is a solid pick for the Bungles.

ONLY six picks between Oher and us ... 8)

Sure, they get credit. It looks like they set a ceiling on what they were willing to do and when it came down to out-bidding the Jets to get to #5, they said, 'Nope. Too much."

But I DO think they were prepared to consider the jump to 8.

Alright guys let me ask you a question. The Jags have been mentioned about wanting out of their 8th pick, do you see the Redskins trading with the Jags?

Actually, considering the 3 players are pretty bleh, it's not a close trade according to the draft value chart. The Jets didn't give up equal value (unless you think the players are any good...which they're not).

5th pick is worth 1700 points.

17th overall pick is worth 950 points.
52nd overall pick is worth 380 points.

1700 to 1330. To make it equal, those 3 players are worth the 53rd pick in the draft (another 2nd).

I think the Jets actually didn't really give up all that much.

Thank God the Jets wanted him. Our team is built to win now, we can't wait for a rookie QB (Jr with 16 starts) to be ready...

What a relief.

Let's pick an OT, DE or trade down (maybe to Clev's new 1st round pick).

I also want Crabtree to go before our pick so Danny boy isn't tempted. I think Crabtree is a me-first guy...like Key!

I'm glad to see the skins didn't waste their picks trading up. But, the funny thing is that neither the Broncos nor the Jets wanted anything to do with JC ----- and he would have wanted to a trade....

I'll bet they would have gone 1st and 3rd round too, but those players were the road block

What would that have been like for us? Doughty, Brennan and Wilson?

Not since Sanchez is off the board.

Wow, the Raiders made a major reach to get a fast WR. Al Davis is seriously the worst. Someone just give him a copy of Madden 2010 and let the brains run the team.

What about if they thought that was their only chance at Orakpo?

Isn't another player the Redskins were interested in is Brian Orakpo? I don't see him available at 13

That's a possibility and I hope that if they trade up that Orakpo is who they get but a trade up seems less likely since Mark is off the board.

Anybody see how pissed Crabtree is?

Nothing against Crabtree, but if he is still around at 13 I can't see us taking him.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

We are not taking a WR - we are taking one of the top 4 OL OR we are taking the best defensive guy there

I still like the LB out of USC - he looks like a future HOF linebacker
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

There are three first round quality USC linebackers, which do you mean.

SF will probably grab him if he's still around. quick trade w/GB! lol
j/k need more help on the Oline first. Orakpo/Oher/best available player would probably work better as a pick too

He does look like one. Great Samoan.

But there are only five (5) picks left between us and Oher.

There are two solid OTs left too. This is potentially a good Draft.

Correction: ONE solid OT left. I would go for LB instead.

there will be sooooo many dudes still there at 13, even vinny can trade out and get more picks
2-2|0-4|1-2|0-0
home: 3-2
road: 0-6

Since 2000 the Redskins have scored 40 pts 2 times!!!!
12/30/01 @ NO 40-10 W
10/23/05 vs SF 52-17 W
Two 40pt games in a decade?? serious?? cant make up that sad fact!!
