I wish Clinton wasn't hurt there. He was just awesome there. He body slammed him basically.

Separated shoulder, didn't he have that last year??? I think he only missed one MAYBE two games.

I am sick of Broughton being wasted at FB.

On the injury front, were knee deep in poopoo.

I really can't help but admire the athletic prowess being displayed at QB right now.
How did we ever stumble onto this gem named Collins?
You know what? If I was a betting man...I'd say that we brought Saunders over just to get to Collins.
Amazing, amazing arm. Wow.
Stunning.

collins is terrible--why isn't jason campbell playing right now? i don't care that collins has played in this system for as long as he has, he's obviously nothing special. he's completed two passes that got us anywhere, but couldn't offset the fact that he cost us 9 points.

other than that, defense looks pretty solid...i'm excited to see what we bring in the second half!

I just can't wait to be in the stadium on Sept. 11, it is going to be WILD.

There's something so unsatisfying about pre-season games. The defense dominates for 3 possessions and then just walks over to the sidelines.

Pre-season is vanilla...

Gibbs won't let his coaches show their hands

Its all about limiting the exposure. Think about it. Would you want Campbell out there for the 1st string offense and getting hurt like Vince Young did last night? No. Let him go out there and build up his confidence and then next game put him in at 2nd and then let him play the whole game or atleast start the 3rd and then go from there. Thats my thought.

Always nice to see a long-time fan like Peter King on the sidelines!

Campbell should be in for most the second half, except for the guy from Wyoming, who may play a series or two.....

Yes, I think I retract my coment about being excited to see Collins in the game.

I'll watch him in practice anytime, though. He does well there. My 2 cents

If Collins is this bad with a vanilla offense how bad is he going to be if he actually has to play during the regular season?

I know it is only preseason but I am very concerned about the lack of fluidity of the team. First string offense and defense looked good except for the INT.

But the backups look aweful. I would just once want to play well in preseason. Anyways second half is on. I see McIntosh in now.

Madden just said that Cinci leads the league in "Johnson's".....I am so glad I taped that......

He actually played most of the first half as well. He was in with the 2nd string defense.
