Well that's a hard one to take. Turnovers, an impotent offense. . .plagues that we haven't been able to take care of :|

Season over.

What a wonderfully symbolic way to end the game. Sack, fumble, recovery by the opposition.

The Redskins don't suck, but life does right at the moment.

I expect the Prince will have something to say shortly.

Better still, the Cowboys and the Giants both won.

That's 5 out of 7 we've lost. That flushing sound you can hear is our season going down the pan yet again.

Utterly pathetic.

Could our receivers not catch? Bad throws by Brunell? Why did our passing game suck so bad?

I would guess we kept throwing go routes to Taylor Jacobs, even when it was clear from the first, oh three, that he didn't have the speed necessary to beat the corner deep.

But that's just my guess.

it seems clear that either brunell has been wearing down recently, or opposing teams have learned how to stop our offense. either way, gibbs should try some changes at this point.

Today I thought would be Taylor Jacobs break out game, but I was wrong, he sucks.

I don't know if it was crappy play calling by trying to force it in to him with like 5 go routes when he is getting absolutely worked by that #21 one guy on the Raiders.

Or if it is just that Taylor Jacobs is to wussy to fight for the ball.

We definately need to get some vet. WR help in here pronto.

yes- the playcalling was absolutely abysmal in this game. what were they thinking with those passes??

Starting from the mid-point of the third quarter I thought the play calling was pretty dismal. Way too much passing, in general. I think they should have stuck with their best player, and not went away from the running game. Sucked.

Great point, and one that was driving me crazy also. Brunell having an off day? Clinton running well? RUN THE DAMN BALL. Sheesh.

I know I'm late, but you gotta call them up. I had the same problem last season I called them & their was a setting that need to be changed! It took like 5 minutes!

I don't think he'll be available when we pick in the 2nd round. Call me crazy...

Sorry, that was kinda bitchy, but I'm not too happy at the moment.

It's not like we even have a decent draft pick to look forward to.

Don't know if anyone is still on, or not. I just got back in from being out of town just in time to see us lose in the last few minutes. Again! Anyone want to fill me on why we lost this game? I have it recorded. Is it worth going back to watch it from the beginning only to be disappointed again?

Don't watch it. Seriously. We ran the ball well, couldn't complete passes. Conversely, our defense shut down the Raider's running game, but had people running free in our secondary (you'll see a nice 50 yard TD pass to Porter, who had...Lemar Marshall covering him. Always nice to cover WRs with LBs). Defense did pick off a pass and Marshall ran it in for our TD.

And of course we turned the ball over. 2 portis fumbles.

The Raiders overcame there mistakes.

IF KC does not throw that idiotic INT and Jano kicks the FG the score is 19-6.

I give your run defense credit, it is pretty good even without Griffin.

I like Sean Taylor, I wish he was a Raider, a perfect fit.

THe Raiders secondary has been a big surprise. Fabain Washingotn has played very well in place of Woodson.

He is only a perfect fit if he is found guilty

Good game though.
Raiders are definately a better team then their record shows.
Teams know how to beat the Skins now, and we can't really fix it until after the season.
But I still have faith we can get it together.
Crazier things have happened before.

PulpExposure - Thanks for the heads up. I guess I can record over the game, unless I want to go back I see our Int - TD. I saw a replay of the Porter TD, and my thinking was exaclty the same, WTF are we doing having a LB cover their WR Porter. Happened last week too. You would GW would have thrown that D package in the toilet. Looks like we will have to win out from here.

One of the lowest points this season for me.

We had momentum, the clock and we were running happily against them. And then, two fumbles that changed the momentum, paralyzed our offense and they ate the clock.

6 points on offense? I wish this was a nightmare.

It burns me that Norv Turner came here ready to give it to us and we handed it on a silver platter. I am not angry. I am beyond that. I am depressed.

Season is not over but our chances at a playoff spot loom fainter and fainter every day. We have lost to all AFC West teams by very small scores. We should have won those three games.

What can you say to the players as coaches when EVERY GAME we kill ourselves with turn overs??? The argument gets tired after a while. Sorry guys, I feel awful just about now. See you later in the week in the Hognostications threads.

Life stinks right now.

Yep, turnovers. I dont know how we stop it either. It comes to a point where something drastic needs to happen. Its a lapse on attention to detail and concentration. Guys need to start getting hit in the pockets, they need to be punished and/or benched.

Benched you say? Darn right, players dont help us by turning the ball over NO MATTER HOW GOOD THEY ARE!
