No, anything remotely in praise of Cousins or critical of Griffin gets the same typical response from him each and every time.

Are you referring to another blog again? I am sure almost everyone would admit that during the preseason he was playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Seriously man. Such a STUPID comment.

You know what I meant. They acted as if Cousins performance was good based off of the pretense that it was just against backups. We'll he's now had 2 weeks of playing against 1st stringers, and is putting up some damn good numbers against them.

A lot of people in here react that way to that...and the name calling has gone beyond ridiculous...say anything critical of RG3 and you're immediately called a (insert derogatory term here)....

I find a lot of people are playing both sides of the fence --- I being one of them. We are all redskins fans after all, right ---- and to the gallery/forum here, grampi and old school are redskins fans; non-fans wouldn't waste their time on a redskins forum for as consistently long as they have if they weren't, sorry. What their opinions may or may not be has nothing to do with whether they are skins fans.

And honestly, I find it hard not to be on both sides --- because there are up-sides to both players. RGIII had an incredible 2012. You can say what you want about the offense, scheme, ect., but you can't take away what he did. He performed at a pro bowl level against NFL defenses. In 2012, RGIII had the best season (IMHO) of any skins QB in my lifetime. That being said, his 2013 wasn't stellar, his 1 game against HOU was horrible, and he got hurt again. While there is substantially less certainty now that RGIII can return to his 2012 level, it is hard not to hope he does. Now, does that mean he will? If I were a putting $$$ on it, I'd say no --- but that doesn't mean I don't hope; because a 2012 RGIII (that can stay healthy; which is another ???) is most likely superior to Kirk Cousins.

On the other side, you have Cousins who has played well and poor in the past. This season under Gruden, Cousins has literally played like a top 5 QB in the NFL. If he can continue this (which is still uncertain), it is hard to make a sound arguement that RGIII should remain the starter once he is healthy --- to the point it would most likely be a ridiculous & nonsensical argument.

So at the end of the day, there is uncertainty that RGIII can recover and whether Cousins can continue performing at the level he is currently playing at. Therefore, I find it hard to take sides right now. I think almost everyone will have a better idea in 3 weeks, honestly.

As far as the RGIII opposition/name calling to posters, I have observed this to a degree. I understand how frustrating a "you're wrong and stupid. the end." post --- with literally no other support (which 99% of the time is because the responding poster can't find actual facts to support themself) --- can be; especailly when they are completely unsubstantiated. That being said --- if you are going to express anything critical of RGIII that is strictly OPINION-BASED, you should know that the response you will receive will be OPINION-BASED..... and that opinion may be quite disagreeable and not something you want to hear.

So looks like I'm not so stupid afterall for saying let's put the brakes on how great Cousins is and how great he is for the offense and we need to send Rob packing. I've stated over and over that I don't care who QB's I just want them to win. Now we see what I have said, Cousins may not have the upside that everyone thinks. He has shown this over and over, great for a bit and then turns in to Mr. Turnover. And if Rob had done this people would want him cut today, but Kirk did it so we get the old "he needs time to show what he can do" crap. Believing what people were trying to say about he has all this growth potential and blah blah doesn't look so smart right now does it? Well anyway, this board has turned out like all the rest with overbearing people spouting opinions that have no basis in fact and everything just turns in to arguments so farewell. You will not be missed.

Why just throw in the chips man?

The griff haters are saying what we said.. give him time, about Cousins.

At the end of the day we have a starter whonis hurt, but progressing in his maturation of the qb he needs to be.

And a back up who is rexy like - and a team decimated with injuries.

Its going to be a long season bit hopefully good rex showsbup vs the defending sb champs
