Not waived. Signed, injured, placed on IR. Season-long. Full salary ... I think.

Because he sucks. If you saw the first 2 games, you didn't miss anything. He does nothing well except get burnt to a crisp.

They must think quite highly of this youngster and I know some of you guys do as well. Being in the midwest I don't get to see too much of UV so I haven't seen much of Minnifield. He sounds like an excellent prospect who was undrafted because so many teams were scared of that one word: Microfracture I hope he is as good as the team thinks!!!

^Triple A was not impressive tonight. I was at the game and saw a couple of times Grossman had to redirect him on where to line up.

He was waived injured. Went unclaimed, and per the rules reverted to our IR.

Is anybody making something of Moss returning punts?

I know from the first practtice reports Moss was observing punt returns, but I never read that he actually caught punts in practice.

Shanahan is exploring all options with returning punts.

I saw when Grossman got the call that he was going in. He was like a little kid playing in his first game. I told my friend who went the game with me, that Rex was going to light it up.

Good Rex showed up. We all know that when good Rex shows up, he can be outstanding, but we all know that he is inconsistent.

Besides the fact that he finished, was it 8 for 8, he looked sharp in his demeanor. After his first TD, several of his teammates came out to high five him. He doens't mean much to us fans, but he meas a lot to at least some of the Redskin fans.

Will someone explain to me. What happened on that overturned fumble review. We never saw a challenge flag or even the Colts coach motioning that he wanted a challenge? It seemed like ... well, a booth review.

Also, the Gomes hit on the WR when he was called for _____. Those of us at the game don't know. The referee mumbled something. The replay was shown once - it looked clean. Was it helmet to helmet?

BTW - I isolated on Gomes almost the whole time he was out there. He played well. I do see his worth out there. He is not a hard hitter, but he seemed to always be where he was supposed to be and made plays.

Both were blown calls and confirmed on TV. The fumble was a fumble. And, the hit by Gomes was clean. They penalized 10 yards, and I didn't hear what the call was either.

Gotcha thanks for clarifying that Hogster

I was kind of wondering why a team would put an UDFA on the IR but you cleared it up

3-1-WAS11 (12:09) D.Karim up the middle to WAS 10 for 1 yard (L.Alexander). FUMBLES (L.Alexander), RECOVERED by WAS-M.Favorite at WAS 10. M.Favorite to WAS 10 for no gain (K.Adams). The Replay Assistant challenged the fumble ruling, and the play was REVERSED. D.Karim up the middle to WAS 11 for no gain (D.Johnson).

I saw it twice. He hot the guy cleanly as the ball was hitting the guys hands. He did not lower his head. Initial contact was torso to shoulder. Inertia and momentun conservation made the receiver's head move in Gomes' direction. Their helmets may have touched. He did not abuse a defenseless receiver. He broke up the pass. Bad call.

1-10-IND30
(2:50) (Shotgun) C.Harnish pass incomplete deep right to J.Sambrano (D.Gomes). PENALTY on WAS-D.Gomes, Personal Foul, 15 yards, enforced at IND 30 - No Play. Helmet to helmet

Why? Not that you're wrong but I'd like to know what it is that you prefer.

Yeah, I love Helu's movement, he's so elusive. Royster always seems to get about 2 or 3 yards more than he's meant to, great desire and drive.

Morris is good and strong, but my impression, and I may well be wrong on this, is that his skill set isn't as strong as Helu or Royster, they seem to have more lateral speed and ability with the ball in their hands.

But that's just my opinion. I say we need to keep all four for the season.

Hey SLR, just want give you a perspective on this topic from being at the game.

On Royster, probably no one on the roster better than him in making the right read to the whole and making one cut. Also has wiggle in his step and makes people miss. You have a point liking Royster.

Helu is learning to read the holes, but he has the speed. He makes one cut and he is up the field. You have a point in liking Helu.

Hightower has quick feet, but if you notice his feet in the game, he has yet to master the one cut. He sometimes tries more than one cut to find his wholes. I can see why you didn't mention him, but his uick feet make his a good back as well.

That brings us to Morris. One cut and up the field with power. Doesn't read the holes as well as Royster, but I would say better than Helu. I think that he has good vision and feel which he demonstrated tonight on that backside against the grain cut for over 20 yards.

I am with you - keep all four as they all bring something different to the table.

Thanks again - I think that that call was a result of the referees being told that they weren't calling enough of those. Definitely a bad call from what I saw on the replay.
