That sounds like a Jim Zorn O coord to head coach move.

It's does explain why Philly has no O or D line...

And this won't help at all ROTFALMAO Eagles' Cole, Peters Out Until Bye; Dixon Done

"Their best run stopper is out for the season. Their two-time Pro Bowl defensive end is out for at least a couple weeks. So is their four-time Pro Bowl left tackle.

Sunday's loss to the 49ers was a disaster in a couple ways for the Eagles, who not only blew a 20-point second-half lead for the first time in 26 years but also lost three key starters and will be undermanned on both lines as they try to end their three-game losing streak."

What I don't get is the Romo talk... Doesn't the entire country know by now he is a choke artist?

*Immediate recall on all Dallas Cowboys #9 jerseys due to choking hazard*

Off topic but in response to your last thought:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=romo
1. Romo 222 up, 86 down
Pulling a "Romo" is when you or a person you know fails miserably under pressure in a crucial moment and looks like a complete and utter fool afterwards.
Man 1: Dude, did you have sex last night?
Man 2: No man, I pulled a Romo and couldn't get it up.
Man 1: Yeah, you definately got Romo'd.

Chris Luva Luva wrote:The formula to beat them is to be more physical. We can be that with Hightower mowing people down.

We should be able to stifle their offense a bit. We can hold them to under 21 points... But we have to be able to put up 21 points, that's the problem.

Scoring TDs is the 'issue' with this franchise

we all felt that the defense would be improved - it is looking better than expected - the offense was always going to be a bit of a concern with no QB getting ready to take over and a line that is coming along but needs quality depth
this offense would be helped if they could take advantage of some good field position and a defense that is keeping the opposing offenses off the field and under pressure

it's only 4 weeks into a season without huge expectations - we are seeing a big improvement

The Eagles did not address some areas of need and went to the old "just add the star players formula" HA!

we could very easily beat the eagles with this defense - the key, as CLL points out, will be, can our offense be more effective

HAHAHA!!! Funny song about "The Dream Team" ROTFALMAO

Washington needs to dominate this game after the bye week. Filthy has all kinds of cracks in their foundation right now. Time to put them away early.
A few more losses should start dividing their locker room with finger pointing and bring out the "Boo Birds."

Man I wish it was our D ripping into philthy today. I like what we can do Defensively to this team. They are awful against the run and aren't using Awesome wha the same he was being used in Oak town. Short passes pitches screens and hand offs would prolly make it a long day for the fecals

Only in a D-R-E-A-M do you lose on a bonehead play by your defensive lineman jumping offside on 4 and 1 when everybody knew that the Billas were not going to snap the ball.

Andy Reid: Will somebody wake me up!!! Ths is no dream! It's a NIGHTMARE!!!

Bills 31- Eagles 24

We couldn't get the bounces for us in the Cowboy game, but did the ball bounce for us in this game. Love it!

Vick broke two ribs on the second play of the Eagles’ loss to the Cards at the Linc Sunday. But instead of reporting the injury, he kept it to himself and then struggled with one of his worst games as a pro.

Plus...

"DeSean Jackson didn't miss Saturday's meeting because he overslept. Or if he did oversleep, it was intentional.

Jackson wouldn't come right out and say it, but it certainly appears his truancy was a statement not about his need of a new alarm clock but instead -- and not surprisingly -- about his contract situation.

Jackson was deactivated for Sunday's loss to Arizona because he failed to attend a team meeting a day earlier. Initially, it was thought that Jackson simply overslept (see post).

But Monday morning, Jackson explained that the reason was anything but simple; he didn't mention anything about sleeping too late.

"For people to say whatever it is, they don't know what I'm going through. I'm the one that has to come to work. I'm the one that has to be here. Everyone can have their own opinion, but I'm the one that's dealing with it," Jackson said.

Dealing with what?

"I'm not going to sit here and get into it. I think it's obvious," Jackson said. "Everyone knows the situation, knows the case. As a professional and as a man, you just really have to handle things. I can admit to some things that I've done, that I need to better, which I think everybody at a period of time in their life figures out what it is."

In the final year of his rookie contract, Jackson is earning about $600,000 this season. A team source said Sunday that the missed meeting wasn't the first incident of the season with Jackson, who briefly held out of training camp.

and this too

Jeremy Maclin has an AC shoulder sprain and mild hamstring strain. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has a high-ankle sprain and admitted he has torn ligaments.

So I'm wondering now that we have the same record, which team is actually BETTER?

The Smeagles are better IMO. They have something that we don't... TALENT!

Let the debate begin in a thing called "WHO'S THE REAL BOTTOM FEEDER?"

A lot of good it is doing them!

On one hand I would love for them to finish with a worse record than us, but on the other hand, I don't want us to win any more games so we have our choice of as many QBs as possible.

Three QBs were taken in the top ten last year's draft and I can't see that being any different this year's draft. So we need to be as high in the top ten as possible to be in a possition to draft a QB that the Megaminds actually like (and hopefully can play).

Yea I was really never on the board the whole suck for luck thing but at the same time now that I've seen how terrible both our QBs are I can see the need to draft high. I'm not sure but don't we have some picks leftover from last year's draft that we may be able to use to trade up?

I'd love to have a top 10 pick

I hope that we see these guys give it all they've got for the next 7 games

ANY player or coach that does not give 110% should be let go

this franchise is not far off from being consistenly competitive

We need a good QB but we also have other positions of need as well

we just need to continue to get younger and deeper

No they have to share that trophy with the Minnesota Vikings. Every offseason the crown themselves the Super Bowl champs by the High quality Free agents they bring in. And they even claimed that McNabb would lead them to the Super Bowl and win it.

I think Minnesota or some other team should get th "trophy"... I hate the Eagles but as bad as this season as been for them I wouldn't want to give them anything to put in their trophy case. It will only confuse them more after a history of looking at a empty one.
