I've been a fan since i was 5 years old .. back in the days when Sonny was the QB. And I've experienced the supreme highs as was the case throughout the 1980's when I attended almost every game, regular season and post season too. And we were blessed and a little spoiled with the type of team that we enjoyed for so many years.

I aslo remember the first and only year that Lombardi brought a winner to the Skins ... then the George Allen era of the over the hill gang emerged, creating the great Skins/Cowboys rivalry. I remember all of the Thanksgiving day games. And I live with the drought that we have all experienced after all of that.

And even with disappointments, I remember seeing this team fight it's way into an unlikely playoff spot twice in the past few years.

And I remember the come from behind miracle on Monday night football in 2005 ... the only game I've ever seen at Texas Stadium.

There will be more good days ahead ... and surely some bad days to. You take the bitter with the sweet ... because without the bitter, you'd never really be able to appreciate how sweet sweet can be.

Merry Christmas, and God Bless the Redskins.

that this game was played on Monday and in front of the nation is a big shame but we can only hope that the direction that Snyder is trying to move this franchise was only re-inforced by that performance - if there were any doubters about the level that this franchise had fallen by the way the team had played the last 4 games they were surely convinced by that game - we are in dire straits

We can only hope that we will see the evidence of Snyder's commitment to change how this franchise is managed in the next few months as Bruce Allen and the rest of the FO here begin the process

we move on and hopefully have learned from our mistakes

it's Dallas week and anytime we can take that team down is a good day in ol' DC - H A I L
