i hate to say, i told you so.... but here is what i wrote in the "how to beat the giants thread..."

nobody has the right answer yet. here is the absolute key to the game...

last year the skins were terrible on third down on both sides of the ball. i think we converted about 25% of third downs on offense and let them convert 55% while on defense.

CAN'T HAPPEN.

when the giants have 3rd and 4 on their 23 yard line... GET THEM OFF TEHE FIELD. how many times did they convert passes to plax in the first game to move those chains? the converted a few of those and punt from our 47 yard line, pinning us to the six yard line. feagles in those situations is a weapon. if we had stopped them the first time, we have the ball on our 40 with room to operate.

it all starts and ends with 3rd down. all the things your talking about... i.e. stretching the field... can't happen when we start drives on our 6 yard line.

wow, 3 miss tackles. manning hasn't been even rushed, looks like a loooong day

Skins need to spend an entire week conducting tackling drills, because they really suck at it.

Suck or are a step late every single time on both sides of the ball...ether way this game has mirrored the Giants opener last year.

maybe zorn is thinking, "everyone expects us to come out and pass, why dont i run it all the time" thats the only reason i can think of for not throwing it at all.. unless he really has no confidence in jason

Maybe Zorn will let O'sak'po loose to get some pressure and force bad throws. As long Eli has this much time he wil carve us up.

this is the first game of the season, what were they doing the entire training camp? a week won't change anything
