Just heard that a team this morning offered the Bengals two first round picks for CJ. Now, in another report, the Skins made another offer to Cincy last night but they didn't know what was offered. Put two and two together and we are STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dallas and Philly are known to be competing for the same three wide receivers, Johnson, Boldin, and Williams. How do you know it was the Redskins who offered two 1st round picks? Last I knew, they had offered one 1st round pick and a conditional 2nd round pick. Maybe another team made a better offer.

Well let me break it down:

Last night it was reported that the Skins made another offer for CJ

This morning a "so called team" made an offer for CJ that included two first round picks.

I'm just saying its pretty obvious. Also, check this out.

Skins still very interested in trading their 21st overall draft pick, and, according to sources, the Redskins made another approach for Johnson in the last day or so, shopping multiple first round picks, and were rebuffed again.

The only reason I question this at all is the Source.
JLC couldn't find his head in his you know what with both hands, a flashlight and a licensed proctologist. I simply don't trust his reporting, and I trust his blog even less, if that's possible.

It might be true, but I'd prefer a non-Washington Post source to confirm this before I jump on the "Stupid" bandwagon.

Being that every sports media outlet outside of the DC area are focused on the upcoming draft.

If I hear Roger Goodell's voice in combination with "The Washington Redskins have traded the 21st pick in the 2008 draft, and the first round pick in the 2009 draft to the Cincinatti Bengals for the rights to Chad Johnson", then I will have to decide whether or not to jump on the "Stupid" bandwagon.

Hearing rumors from media sources is like hearing rumors from the players agent. Both the media and the player agent want the trade to occur, and would encourage it through any means available. Have you seen Drew Rosenhaus' YouTube video yet?

Disgruntled Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson says he will refuse to play for the team next season if he does not get a trade to another side, after an offer from the Washington redskins was rejected.

Frustrated Johnson has been keen for a trade away from the Bengals since the end of last season, as he believes they cannot compete in the NFL.

Johnson has a contract until 2011 after signing an extension in Cincinnati two years ago, but no longer wants to play for Marvin Lewis' men.

The Washington Redskins offered Cincinnati a trade option, but that deal was rejected by the Bengals and now Johnson says he will not play next season if he is not given a move.

"I will take the criticism," Johnson told the NFL Network. "I will stick by my guns, and I will not be there.

"I feel things need to be done to make this team better. I don't blame Marvin Lewis. I love him. You have never heard me say one bad thing about my coaches or team-mates.

"I know it's not up to Coach Lewis. Whether I'm traded, or if we get better players, is not up to him. If it was up to Coach Lewis, then he would do it."

You have to credit the FO for what they did AND especially for what they did not do these past few months - I prefer to think that they were hoping that other teams especially the pukes and iggles would think that we were going to be stupid again and throw away our draft picks on one of the 3 receivers that everyone thought we really wanted

These guys did a great job in my opinion and I am hoping that we can continue to build this team through the draft the next few years. We can continue to add players through free agancy and trades but NOT by losing draft picks.

The media is obviously not convinced that this FO are running this team differently than we used to and is still very reluctant to give any kudos the Cerrato and Snyder for anything.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I will jump on the "Cincy is Stupid" bandwagon for not taking the Redskins offer, if the Redskins did actually make the offer. Just think, Cincy could have had Devin Thomas and any other receiver they wanted. They already had the #9 pick.

Boy, I'll bet you spazzed when Goodell marched up to the mike and said "The Washington Redskins have traded the 21st pick..."

Every time I hear "Redskins" and "Trade" in the same sentence, I get concerned. I was less concerned this time because it was all but known that the Redskins were looking to trade down.
