He missed lots of practice time during the preseason and has not been practicing very much during the season. He had an injured groin and now he has an injured heel. In fact, he was kept out of practice once again today. Anybody that has watched Moss in the past can see that he isn't 100% and doesn't have the same burst of speed that he does when healthy. It's also rather obvious that he and JC don't have their timing down, and Gibbs confirmed that yesterday on his radio show. I'm sure that his lack of practice time has also played a roll in his dropped pass.

ARE has also been slowed by injuries. His hamstring isn't 100% and now he's being double covered.

Oh and the right side of an offensive line that can't block, and an offensive scheme that is so forward thinking it brings back memories of the Schottenheimer offense.

No, it's all Campbell's fault. ALL.

I NEVER SAID IT WAS ALL CAMPBELL"S FAULT. You Knuckleheads like to put words in other people's mouths, or your reading comprehension skills are that of an 8 y.o.

What I said , and continue to say is that I disagree with the statements being made that Campbell is doing "perfectly fine".

I also contend that however valid the injury issues are, they are little more than excuses. The claims that the o-line is soooo bad doesn't hold water. The sack numbers are not out of line with the averages across the league, and a good indicator of the fact that the o-line isn't as bad as some would claim is that the Redskins are 9th in rushing in the NFL, 3rd in the NFC.

If Moss and ARE are so hobbled, why are we not seeing more of McCardell and Caldwell? These two guys are valid, experienced, proven receivers, and former starters last year for two of the best teams in the NFL. So we have depth at WR. Apparently, the coaches don't view the injuries as significant enough to take them out of the line up.

Personally, the Redskin offense has been far from stellar for the past 3 1/2 years. So that would suggest that IT IS NOT all JC's fault. But we need better production from the QB position in spite of whatever injuries are present....that's just the way it is.

Right now, if we have any hope of winning the division, we need to win 6 or 7 out of these last 8 games, including 2 against the Cowboys. With the way the offense continues to play, that is extremely unlikely that we will win either game against Dallas. And the first of those two is next week, so we had better figure this crap out quickly.

The bottom line is that we cannot continue with less that 2 offensive TD's per game and expect to win. So if that means that we need to incorporate more quick slants, roll outs, or three step drops to negate the pressure....if we need to get McCardell and Caldwell more involved.....whatever.... we need to do it, and JC needs to make the throws, and score more points regardless of who is blocking and running pass routs. Excuses will not win these upcoming games.

And speaking of excuses, I hear all of the trash talk about Thrash. Like many other receivers on this team, his production has disappeared since rejoining the Redskins in 2004 OK. From 2000-2003 he averaged over 50 receptions a year. Now he is a non entity. Close to the same situation with Lloyd.....and the same situation with Patten who has already made more receptions for NO this year than he did in two seasons with the Redskins.

But the most ridiculous stat of all is that any NFL team could go a full 8 games without one single TD to any WR. I don't care if you have your 3rd QB starting, throwing to you 2nd string receivers, with a terrible o-line and No running game. Even that would be no excuse.

That is the bottom line here, and that in no way suggests that JC is doing perfectly fine.
