Thanks for the lovely intro, FFA. Here's my story:

In response to what Redskins1974 wrote:Mine's straight forward as well. Redskins - ah, that's easy and 1974 is when I was born. I couldn't think of anything creative at the time :-)

I guess I'm stuck with it now!

Here's what I wrote:I, too, thought about when I was born...

...again, that is  .

While deciding on a name, I tried to come up with something that either used "Hogs" or "Redskins". I wanted to express my faith in both my Savior AND the team (in that order). :D

Add to that the fact that Joe's team is stocked up with other believers, it was only fitting that I pay homage to the great things that this core group of Redskins has in common, their faith.

In the beginning I was RED(EEMED)SKIN, and a lot of people understood what I was professing; I disliked peeps just calling me "Red". Shortly after I dropped the parentheses and "came out" in complete redeemed form.

My avatar contains (should contain) the four Redeemedskins I most admired: Joe, Patrick, Mark Brunell(MB is missing --- still negotiating with the NFLPA, apparently  ), and, yes, Danny Wuerffel.
I would have included Darrell, but that would have been too controversial on this board.

FYI - The whole Brunell/NFLPA obscure comment in my post had to do with my avatar. I had requested an avatar containing all four of the above-named cats, but, NC couldn't find one that'd fit. I tried to get it added, but it didn't work out.

Looking back, I would have gotten a whole lotta junk by having Brunell in my avatar last year, from the haterz, but it would most certainly look sweet this year. Right now my goal is to get to 20K posts, the point at which, I've been told, my request to have Mark added might be considered.

Mine is actually a funny story, and yes it is true.

Before I signed up here I lurked for a little less than a week and noticed everyone had used the name Hog.

Either BossHog, JusticeHog, NC43Hog... so I thought I might as well use Hog.

So while I was typing in the information, I must have been touched by an angel or something because on TV in the other room I over heard the commercial for:

"Air Hog Tire Frames" or something like that. So I was like sweet, air_hog, and thats what I typed.

And now that I'm remember that day, I too remember my first post:

"LaVar could take Sapp anyday"

THE END

The reason for it was because I remembered LaVar warning Sapp to stay out of the Endzone or something, (it was on SportsCenter because remember when Sapp was being an idiot and running through teams stretching drills) and it was about the time I started to really get interested in the Skins and the NFL.

But I don't remember what the toic was...

Well for me, the name IONTOP came from many sources...
If you're from the NCDMV, I drive a Saturn ION Redline, which is the "TOP" of the line ION, supercharged an all that jazz.
If you're my ex-girlfriend, you know why.
And if you're a business minded person, it means I have my EYE ON the TOP of the corporate ladder.

Pick one...

I made a poll a loooonnnggg time ago as to whether or not I should lose the 500 or so posts I had aquired and make a new SN with hog in it.

Everyone basically voted "no" so I didn't. Its too late to turn back now.

I love the EA sports and I like the 76ers and when I live in Cali i liked the niners back in the days with steve young and jerry rice mid-late 90's.

EA(sports)+76(76ers)+49(49ers)=EA7649

Now a redskins fan because my cousin got the athletic trainer job with the skins. Now I'm a Skins fan for ever!

I honestly thought you made it to honor Steve Spurrier, Jr. Thank you for letting us know that wasn't the case.

I just always liked Chris Hanburger as a kid, as for Redskindave, alot of people call me Redskin because of my obsession with the redskins and after visiting my apartment they are convienced by my Redskins memorbilia collection.
