I don't know much about physics but I'm guessing throwing a ball 30 plus yards is going to require you to loft it ... unless you're telling me there are QBs who throw the football THROUGH people?
That is AWESOME ... see, this is why I need NFL Sunday Ticket, I'm missing all the blood and gore ... no wonder TO wants a raise

I said loft dangerously. Don't misquote and then make a joke. It makes you look like a cheap shot artist. Ramsey's 30 yard passes get there quicker that do Brunell's. Is there any argument there?

No arguement here, the only problem is Ramsey's 30 yard bullets are typically overthrown or misdirected.

The subject of this thread is -Is there any way Ramsey would go to jets? After today Michaelf382 may want to change the name of it. If another QB goes down, there will be more speculation.
It will be funny how Ramsey's name will keep coming up, even though he's not the only viable option out there.
The Titans are now saying they weren't called about Volek but he's available for the right price.

I read this yesterday...
After learning that starter Chad Pennington and backup Jay Fiedler will be out indefinitely with injuries, the Jets called the Bucs to inquire about the availability of Chris Simms, according to a report in Friday's Newsday. The report said the Bucs demanded a first-round draft pick in return.

The Bucs refused to comment on the report. Simms said he hadn't heard it but was flattered to know "that someone wants me." http://bucs.tbo.com/bucs/MGB9NO0A9EE.html

If the Bucs can ask for a #1 for Simms who as done nothing in the NFL then it seems we are in the catbird's seat on this one.

What no one is accounting for is we fully expect Mark to go down sooner or later. At that time Ramsey will step in.
I fully expect Ramsey to be able to get the job done. This will increase his trade value for the off-season, and keep Jason Campbell out of the fire.

If Ramsey (who is still under contract next year) plays well he will be in high demand at the end of the season. Even if he only plays while Mark is hurt.

The Jets still need a QB. Miami is always hoping to land the next Marino, Orton looks like a good backup, No one wants to go to the desert but Denny needs help, and teams will loss the top guys over the next 3/4 of the season.

Ramsey, Volek and Brees are the only real options right now for a team that NEEDS a QB right now. But again I ask why would we or they give up what may be needed later for someone or something that we can't benifit from right away?

But the Offseason will be very very interesting...
Notice all the bitzing going on in today's NFL???
Monday Oct 3rd may be very interesting also
