still, frustration shouldn't be a part of it when you are getting top 5 pay at your position. ship him out.

You can see it every game, Brunell takes 20 steps back and the Tackles have to sprint to enguage the DEs.

Interesting thought, so would patrick "the pocket passer" ramsey actually help our Oline by having them cover less ground. I like it.

Not sure but Brunell is constantly out of the "Horseshoe."

Ramsey stands there and you see is smoke coming from his hand

Get Ramsey in !!!! It dosent matter if he looses... he needs to learn the GIBBS System. He needs reps.. just like Mark Rypien did in 89 and 90. It takes time and since we are loosing anyway with a veteran QB - get Ramsey in to LEARN!
Just beat Dallas - they are A-H****

I am a huge Brunell fan. I keep waiting for him to snap out of it. I watched him throughout the years at Jacksonville and he used to be able to do all the things fans are criticizing him on (arm strength and accuracy).

I just don't understand the problem. I used to be 34, and still had most of my athletic ability. I couldn't run quite as fast or jump as high, but I could still throw just as hard. I guess the last few years in Jacksonville where he got creamed (talk about a bad O-Line) he must of got old faster than the average bear.

So, I regret that I cannot defend Brunell any longer. He made a few plays but missed on way too many. Mark, you were one of my all-time favorites, but I think it is time to call it quits.

Lastly, fans need to understand that there are many other problems with this offense. A new QB isn't going to be the cure.

fellow skins fans,

Dont get so down on samuels. yes he could be playing better, yes he had a terrible season last year. Let me stress something that may provide insight to why gibbs wont change the quarterback. when a team is one demensional, any team whether it is the pass or the run, the defense can plan, and scheme and stop you and force you to beat them another way.
Example: 04 basketball finals, lakers are only kobe and shaq, the pistons shut them down and beat the lakers.
baltimore ravens seemingly always, great running back, but no qb, so everyone stacks up agaisnt the run, and their defense has to win it for them.

I am a believer in ramsey and i think he wouldnt have done any worse, prob have won atleast one game for us. putting him in now wonthelp unless he has an awesome first game, then other teams must respect him. right now though since brunell sucks, and since he can't pass more than 20 yards down field, we are one demensional and any team with a good coach and a decent d will just stack the line and wait for our qb to hurt them.
Georgetown Rugby and Washington Redskins for life

I agree with everything you said. I have always liked Brunell. I'm 31 and feel just as physically fit as I did when I was 25. I actually can bench more now than I could then. I don't think his age is the major factor in his performance. I don't understand what's going on. Like I said in another post, if he would have arrived in Washington without the QB controversy, I feel he would have had more support from the fans and wouldn't have a cloud of negativity hanging over his head. It's a shame.
Let us all gather around and drink the Cooley-Aid of the Redskins.
