Fire the replay guy now!

Post by gregory smith »

Fire the replay guy today. Challenging the Portis fumble was just plain stupid. If I can see from where I sit (In Arkansas) that it was clearly a fumble, why can't he? The coaches are trusting this guy, and he cost us big by burning that time out. Had we been able to challenge the Coles reception/incompletion/fumble we may have still had life. Sick of it. Fire somebody, cut somebody, just do something even if it's wrong.

That Coles play was also a clear fumble. No challenge would have helped us. I agree that we have been challenging to many plays that cost us Timeouts. But the bottom line is that the game should have never been that close. This team is too talented to lose to the Browns.....Oh wait....they just did.

Its funny how this was being called out after the first game. You would think Gibbs would have caught on by now. I might apply for it if its open.

I sent this off to the redskins. I hope I get the job.

To Whom It May Concern:

Hello, I feel you guys have hired a really bad employee, the guy that evaluates if you should review a play or not. He has cost the redskins numerous timeouts on plays that were clearly not reviewable. I watch football quite a bit and have a tremendous amout of experience noticing bad calls. I also have redskins season tickets so I'm free for all home games. I'll gladly volunteer my time to take on this position free of charge as long as you fire the current occupant of this position. Feel free to contact me if you would like to set up an interview. Thank you.

Ultimately, the decision is up to Coach Gibbs whether to challenge or not.

Maybe he should also fire all the officials that work the practices since we had a bunch of stupid pentalties like illegal formation and false start?

I dont even know where to start. This man has been challenging bad plays since the pre-season. Why is he still here?

So someone please tell me how many bad plays will Gibbs put up with? From what I've seen of Joe and his commitment to his players, he's going for a while.
