Well it looks like they did.....This is from an article in the Washington Post.....
Portis was one of the league's top tailbacks with Denver, becoming only the third rusher in NFL history to amass at least 1,500 yards in each of his first two seasons. But Portis has been mediocre since his first carry as a Redskin went for a 64-yard touchdown in the season opener. Time after time Sunday, Redskins players said, the Browns yelled out Washington's run schemes before stuffing Portis near the line of scrimmage. "We're changing plays every week," Portis said, "but for teams to know where we're going before we get there is tough. That's a disadvantage. Somehow they knew everything we were doing."
I hear that on the radio after the game. No one studies tape that well so something was going on. However know what a team is doing and stopping them from doing it is 2 different things

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hold on....
That's a crap excuse! Now we're going to blame a guy they signed for giving the plays???? They knew he was signed by Cleveland, they should've game-planned around it! If Clemons wasn't signed & we lost then what would the excuse be????? "They must have had a bird with a video camera filming our practices!" This is the NFL, if everyone is going worry about this BS, we have alot more to worry about & if they thought that was going to be a problem, then they shouldn't have released him.
We should just hope Baltimore releases someone this week, so we can sign them & we'll know their whole game-plan. If that happens every week, we should go undefeated the rest of the season!
I'm embarrased that we would stoop to the level of making pathetic excuses.
i agree with ant7088. just sounds like portis is making excuse's. knowing what a team is planing to do doesnt cause them to fumble the ball...or does it?...

No it certainly does not.
But the fact that you have to go to hand signals (and the other home-team does not) makes you more vulnerable to early readings of the plays being called.
We should have won. No excuses. We should be able to overcome poor officiating and any attempt to sabotage our game. We were better on paper. We should be better on the score. We should have won by more than a touch down, period.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Now that's just silly. Wait a minute, aren't we playing the Ravens next week!
